Customer service is my number one priority when renting a vehicle. If you’ve ever rented a car at the El Paso airport you’ll know it’s def hit or miss. Renting and returning my car took less than 10 minutes with competent friendly agents on both ends. Returning, agent asked what else he could have done to make my experience any better – My response, «nothing at all, you guys did great». Recommend them for your next rental, you won’t be disappointed.

I rented a car in October and the next day after receiving it, found that the tire was flat. I called my AAA service who put on the spare and told me that the tire was repairable. I contacted Alamo and was instructed to go to the nearest facility and exchange the car. I did. At every point, I asked if I was going to be charged for anything and I was assured that I was not. Everyone was so friendly. A week later, I found a charge on my credit card and when I called, I was told I was charged for tire replacement. Not only was I never notified of this, but I made certain to ask with each step if I was going to be charged for a tire flat from a leak that I wasn’t sure even happened when I had possession. There was no inspection that involved me before I picked up the car. It was dark, how was I supposed to know if the tire was already leaking? To make matters worse, I have had to call over and over again to talk to someone in the El Paso office — even though they were supposed to call me from the reference number given to me by the billing department. When I called today I spoke with manager Victor Hernandez and he told me that the burden was mine and that there’s nothing he can do. I explained the situation and he told me that his documents said that someone called me on October 16 at 10am to inform me of the charge, but I looked up my cell phone records and can prove that no one ever called me. This is horrible customer service and I should have been notified by at least one of the people I interacted with during this incident that there may end up being charges. I am going to continue to post on Facebook, Twitter and customer services websites. Unfortunate. Terrible communication and customer service.

Wonderful service all the way around. The front desk was extremely helpful in our visit there. They made sure that we had the proper car for our trip, as well as had recommendations on lunch and shopping in the El Paso area. Returning the car was just as good! The gentleman had a smile on his face, helped us unload the car, and made sure that we knew where we were heading in the terminal to catch our flight. All in all, this company went above and beyond in their service to us, and because of that we will use them on our next trip.
