Barfly

I came here with a friend on Sunday and hated my experience there. Probably one of the most «ghetto» places I’ve seen in the city thus far. If you are drama free stay clear from this place. One of the bouncers grabbed my friend in a headlock for no justifiable reason. At closing time I was waiting to get my card from a waitress when a bouncer started yelling at us to leave. I explained that the waitress was getting my card. There where a few other people also waiting for their card. My friend then pulled out his phone and started recording him yelling at us. The bouncer who yelled at us then said «did I allow you to record me?» then another bouncer came and grabbed my friend recording in a headlock. I’ve been to bars/​clubs/​pubs all over the world and I’ve never been treated like this. I’ll be calling this place to make an official complaint against the bouncers. But like I said if you are drama free steer clear away from this place. I will never return.

East side bar. This bar is a crazy happening bar on the east side. Right up front, I’ll say its not my scene (I prefer the west side locales). If you like ridiculously packed bars with an outside thats not really outside (smokers standing next to non-​smokers) and you like a little danger to your night (aka possibility of getting stabbed or in a fight) then Barfly is your place. Its got a wide variety of people (lots of ladies for the guys) but it is definitely not interested in catering to the… er. classier clientele. But if you want to grind it out with a random person on an impromptu dancefloor next to your friends then yeah this place rocks for sure. But my college days are long behind me now.

If you have a dick the swing is off limits. If you’re stubborn after they tell you to get off and you don’t you’re kicked out ¹⁰⁄₁₀ equal rights ftw

If you like garbage drinks from hot girls this is the place. I’m not sure what gets worse the line for a drink or the restroom. I like the outdoor patio area it has a second bar there and it’s never used. I go there if forced by someone I’d rather be sober than to deal with bar fly and it’s hostile patrons. And on that note all military should stay on base way to ruin every new bar we get here.

I was here on a Friday and Sunday night. Big crowd… so you think that they would have 1) enough bartenders 2) bartenders that are knowledgeable 3) bartenders that can remember your order. 4) bathrooms are in THE WORST possible spot. I like the concept but damn get enough employees! So aggravating. DJ was great though.

Love this bar. I love how they incorporated the animals from Putt Putt Golf into the establishment. I like the atmosphere and love the overall décor of the place. I give it 2 thumbs up all the way. Although there is a wait to get in, its worth it with the right group of friends. =D

Pretty cool bar. Cheap ass beer and fun atmosphere. Wish I would have stayed here before going to that shit bar Funkmeyer. Next time I visit EP I will return
