This place is little gem with a great 50s feel to it! The food is cheap with huge serving sizes! The super wrap is a massive burrito with a good amount of meat inside. There is some extra tortilla however but it goes great with the awesome salsa verde. The torta is also very good. Would definitely come back here!

I started coming here because if the large size burritos. As I became more familiar with frequent visits, it’s clear that they could be better if not for the high turnover in employees. Today there was a sign on the door for an experienced cook. My wife and I came in today for breakfast and ordered a single large breakfast plate of eggs and tamales and an empty plate to share. The order came split in half with a cold tortilla, no beans and all the server could say was«maybe since you split the plate, they decided not to give you beans». Service is not a priority when a business thinks they’re doing well enough not to care about a simple customer request. It will be a while before we come back or recommend to others.

I don’t know what these people talking about but I been going to Bonny’s for the last five years and is still my favorite place to go eat burritos and other stuff but you have to remember it is known for its burritos so obviously the other stuff might not be as delicious, is like going to a sushi place and ordering a well done steak… Like come on don’t be dumb

The Caldo had a decent amount of meat, but the broth was very clear and had no flavor.

The best dang burritos you can find in town! If you want a burrito that’s the size of your forearm then this is the place to go. I’ve never understood the whole breakfast taco vs burrito because the burrito was born before the breakfast taco… Just saying. These burritos are filled to the core and you’ll be in love at first bite. Did I mention the price of these beauties are ridiculously cheap. Like really really awesome priced!

I came in for the burritos but got suckered into the enchiladas montadas so good, just like mama used to make. I love the décor staff is attentive and kind. This is going to be one of my new hangouts for great Mexican eats

Great good cute diner feel. Prices have gone up only down fall. The only place in town with over 12 in burritos.

Don’t even bother coming in to this place. They have horrible service and they pay to remove bad reviews from Unilocal. The food is the worse and the cashier is rude. She knows she will not get fired because the owner is just as bad or worse. Not yum at all!

I am not sure if you are eating here for the themed diner or the food. I ate at bonus and I felt the food was mediocre. Infact I was rather disappointed in the large wrapped burrito. I thought it was absolute waste of burrito products. any who I don’t recall the service being awful, then again my boyfriend and I were the only ones in the diner. Anyway, would I recommend Bonny’s? Yes! It was a nice experience and I am glad I had the chance to enjoy the very nostalgic feel they have

Easter morning was a wonderfully fun surprise to experience. I liked the Tex-Mex menu with the 1950s twist décor seating and the walls with fun movie posters(not exactly related or any particular genre; just a bit eclectic). It was a good way to spend the morning having breakfast with my best bud while visiting mellowed El Paso. I did find it odd that my Menudo was served with buttered bread instead of tortillas and a bit discourteous that the waitress only kept speaking in Spanish when clearly my bestie did not speak Spanish at all. It is nice to offer both options; especially since this is a bordertown. overall I would definitely let others know they need to visit before their departure home.

I absolutely love the chile verde burrito here. not only is it gigantic, but it is the perfect combination of meat, potatoes, beans, and green chili. it’s spicy and something I get every single time I come to town.

Most amount of food for the buck. Choose your Super Wrap(Giant Burrito) and enjoy. Every time I visit my father, I always eat here after an El Paso hangover. Menudo is great too.

I agree the Chile verde super wrap is awesome, as is the Chile Colorado.

Yvett’s review was on mark… the Chile Verde burrito was fantastic. I also ordered Bonny’s Torta and smiled blissfully after the ham, steak, bacon, avocado and mayo induced heart attack. I recommend the torta, myself, and suggest you share it with a friend. Unfortunately, the horchata was fountain style, rather than home made. I am rather confused about the film nostalgia and 1950s booth. Abit of a clash with the large food. Oh yeah, bonnys is rather cheap if you split an order. otherwise, you are looking at about 25 for lunch.

YUM! If you’re going to Bonny’s you HAVE to try their giant burritos known as super wraps. My favorite is the chile verde. Be careful, though, it is quite spicy for a lightweight like me. If you’ve been to Rafa’s, you know how huge the burritos are. I’m only partial to Bonny’s since my whole office once got sick after we ordered food from Rafa’s. Eww. I’m usually not able to finish the whole burrito myself, but one burrito is great for a very filling breakfast and then the other half for lunch. Also, do try this at home. .. when we once brought home these giant wraps, I placed one in front of my then toddler and told her«Ok, you’re not getting up until you eat all of this». The look on her face was priceless!
