$ 2 movies most nights. These movies are usually already out on disk but if you really wanted to see a movie in theaters this is the place for you. Don’t be surprised if there may be children there, because not all parents want to be the reason your premier movie was spoiled they will probably take the family here. Just might be the best popcorn theater wise in El Paso.

Great place! You can see the greatest movies for $ 2! I love that they show movies that I had no time to see when they just came out. They have a great selection of different kinds of movies, too. Other theaters are expensive. And it’s not just the movie ticket(iMax near bassett even charges around 15usd) … it’s especially the food that’s expensive. At Eastpointe 12, however, there are affordable drinks and food. My husband loves the $ 1 hotdogs. It’s not freezing like some cinemas, like the Sunland park Bistro cinema. I think ambiance is better, because it’s more crowded and there are more families. I only wished they had a location in the west.

What do you expect for 2 bucks. The food is terrible and the place is always empty. Oh well you get what u pay right?

For $ 2 I wouldn’t expect a lot of ambiance but the prices are good, the nachos and popcorn are good, the employees are as good as any place in town. However, their $ 1 hotdog is not so good, Sean B — for a pig chowing down on corn-on-the-cob(in your photo), I would think you’d trash the place — literally, not verbally! Oink! Oink! I’ve been to the popular expensive theatres at the wrong time on some days and they are trashed. People in EP have no respect for other people’s property or business. It would help if you took your trash out instead of throwing it on the floor Come on people! $ 2 for crying out loud!

I’m an economically humble student, so the thought of a two dollar ticket makes me want to spend the day in the theater. I do not recommend you do this at the Eastpointe Theater(aka. East Pointe Movies 12, «Dollar Theater» or «Two Dollar Theater»). First of all, I hate places that use cute spellings, like the Kar Wash or Quik-e Mart. Eastpointe is no exception. Ambiance: The theater reminds me of a hot zone. Popcorn covered the carpets, every trash can was overflowing, the floor was just nasty(but I guess thats standard) and the bottled water was more expensive than the soda(and no, they would not give me a glass). Though I did not witness it, my girlfriend told me the someone in the womens bathroom experienced a gastro-explosion all over the walls just prior to her arrival. Experience: There was a geriatric couple at my 4’oclock that would not stop asking for clarification, annoying teens at my 8’oclock that thought everything was lame, and a couple in front of me that were trying to eat each others tonsils for the first minute until they decided to leave and geta room(but hey, they were quiet). $ 2 for a ticket and well worth the experience, and it was not nearly as loud as the theaters I remember from the south and west side of Chicago. I’ll be there again in 2 weeks for another cheap show.
