This place is amazing. I happened to be at the stop light off the highway looked over and saw a parking lot full of cars. I wasn’t expecting much. Boy was I wrong. I asked what was good and was told the flautas. I ordered them and was not disappointed. It’s a good amount of beef topped with crema, queso fresco, avocado, tomato and onions. I’m not a fan of all those ingredients but on these it works and it works amazingly. The salsa bar is awesome and I would suggest trying all of them.

One single with everything? Coming right up. Flautas with crema, cheese, tomatoes, avocado and onion. Enough said. Busy spot in a parking lot with a promising meal that delivers. You will thank me. Come. Eat. Enjoy. Tip: Be sure to hit up the salsa bar for the green creamy avocado salsa and cubed cucumbers for your flautas.

Place is amazing for tacos and flautas! Hands down the best place I have found in EP! I have eaten all over this city but this is the joint. Great food, large portions at a small price. They don’t mess with sides of rice or beans. Just the good stuff plus Horchata and agua de melon and limonadas! For a white boy raised on the border, this is the joint!

The food was great and our server was amazing too! The only reason why I did not give full five stars is because of what I assume was the manager on duty. My entire visit here, he was mingling around the cashier counter with other two female employees, just laughing and what appeared to be that they were critiquing the restaurant clientele. Obviously very unprofessional. This bothered me and my guest. This restaurant I want to say is busy because of the name and where it comes from. If it wasn’t for that, in my opinion it would be dead and management would then have to really work hard for there job.

Low prices for big portions. Awesome salad bar and great service too! Came here on a Friday around 12pm, so it was busy for lunch. You’ll have to wait to be seated, but they try to make it quick as possible. Food is great! One of the best mexican foods I’ve tried. :) their flautas are sooo delicious. Not kidding. This place is small(sorta) so it’ll get packed. It reminds me of one of those family owned businesses. Love it.

Walking in you are greeted and seated by the hostess. Chips are delivered to the table really quickly and there is a great salsa bar with lots of options.(Salsa Roja and Verde are on point!) Ordered the flautas since it seemed to be a popular selection among those dining around me and they were SOGOOD. Covered in cheese and generous portions of avocado. Also ordered the tacos al pastor. The meat was seasoned well and not greasy which I appreciated! The tacos consist of one tortilla and a generous portion of meat! If I’m ever passing through El Paso again definitely will stop here again!

Best authentic Mexican style flautas on this side of the border! The flautas are made with a generous amount of shredded beef and topped off with Mexican sour cream, tomato, avocado, panela cheese and onions. Absolutely delicious!!!

I knew this place sounded familiar so when i asked it was confirmed that it came from Juarez. They’ve always served up really good flautas and tacos. First thing i noticed was that it was really packed. It is tough finding seats at this place since you seat yourself. The place was busy and once we sat down the wait line to sit was insane. Even the line to pay was long. Our server took long for mostly everything from bringing our drinks to our meals. I ordered the tacos al pastor which were really good and the food was hot. However oddly enough my table of eight received their food at very different times. One order came out, then 10 minutes later another 2, then 1, then lastly mine. Its never fun to get your food served at different times cause common courtesy is to start eating all at once. During that time my family’s food was getting cold and everyone was drinking a little too much soda and eating too many chips and salsa. When my food came it was really good though. The flautas looked amazing and the best part about them is that the amount of meat in them is much more compared to other places. The guacamole was pretty spicy and both the red and green salsas had a kick to them. The food here was pretty flawless. The only thing that really held them back was the service. Waiter was nice and courteous but something happened with our order that it was literally delivered to us at different times. Not a good thing for a table of 8.

I went here on Father’s day and it was full but we were seated quickly. My wife had been here before so I wanted to try for myself. The menu had a few items. I chose the tacos a pastor. They were good but not exciting. The one this that bugged me is that if you have tacos a pastor, you need to grill the onions, they served them to me raw on my tacos. Kind of a let down. I have better Mexican food elsewhere.

Lots of food for a generous price. This is a spot to go to if you want to have a nice big meal for yourself. I ordered al pastor tacos and the meat itself was marinaded beautifully. It had a nice red glaze and the texture of the meat made it special. So much flavor. They give like 6 tacos, but it is A LOT to handle. Great deal. I tried the their signature flauntas too and it was amazing. 5 stars from me.

Best flautas money can buy. I just wish you got more than 3 for a single order. I’ve never sat down to eat here because it’s right by my house and I pick it up to go everytime. I’ve also never had anything other than the flautas. You won’t be disappointed and the prices are very good. The lemonade is on point.

One of my favorite places for a good taco fix. Service is fast and food is always fresh and hot. Although there was once the meat lack seasonings, but majority of times it has always been great. I always ordered the taco alhambre with cheese. Occasionally I will order half order then another half order of taco pastor with cheese as we’ll. The half order is actually enough to get you full. The salad station has wonderful assortment of goodies to jazz up your tacos/plate. By the way, the flatus is amazing too! The best part of the flatus is the cheese that they use, it is just mouthwatering good. It is like a thin layer of white paint, plus all the shredded cheese on top!

Ordered the tacos al pastor and they were delicious! They were also ready within about 10 minutes. The staff was pleasant with the interior looking like a typical Mexican restaurant. I’ve driven by the place hundreds of times but never went inside because of how it looks from the outside, but don’t be fooled by this one! Also, as a side note it can get pretty loud in there. Especially if they are seating a large table.

Let’s see where to start, well the prices are good. The service is friendly and fast. Now, moving to «la comida» the Was cooked perfect for the tacos I ordered! A perfect mix of bellpeppers and onions with steak that was seared to absolute perfection. The pico de gallo Is supa supa fresh. It can get a little crowded on Saturdays. This establishment et does not take reservations so be careful. This place is no tacoholics but it’s kills that need a good well prepared taco feeling!

Pros-Fast and very friendly service, cheap, lots of food for the price, clean, condiment bar is small but delish with the basics covered, simple menu(also a con) and best of all EVERYTHING was good, the chopped beef with green chilies hit the spot. Cons-sodas are in a can as is the tea, small menu(but you will find something you want), no extra thought behind the tacos for example like tacoholics has a korean version oh and they had three different TV’s going with different things playing causing too much noise Overall a 4.5 star place for what it is.

El Cometa is one of my favorite taquerias in Juarez and I’m really happy they finally opened an El Paso location. Clearly I’m not the only one that’s happy about this as there were long lines for the opening and the restaurant is still pretty busy during non-peak hours. I haven’t visited the Juarez location in a couple of years, but the El Paso menu is a little simpler than the one across the border, but that doesn’t matter because they brought the essentials: their alambre tacos and signature flautas. I’ve been a big fan of their alambre con queso tacos since childhood, they’re a little greasy, but I highly recommend it, luckily they take half-orders because you should also try the tacos al pastor. They’re also famous for their flautas, which come loaded with cream, onions, and cheese, they go great with their guacamole salsa! The prices are comparable with Juarez, 2 people can eat very well for about $ 20, so not bad at all. Service is okay, it was pretty busy when I visited so the waiting staff wasn’t super attentive, but very friendly. They really did a good job bringing over all that makes the Juarez locations so great, too bad for that Taco Bell across the parking lot! ;-)
