I have only had brunch at this establishment but I had the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The vinaigrette that comes on the side salad is the perfect acidic addition that complements the entire meal. The Bloody Mary is in my top ten list and definitely my #1 Bloody Mary for El Paso. A

Hipsters in El Paso exist and they come here. It’s quiet it’s trendy and the drinks are well made. Bring a girl here for a few drinks and a cool conversation. Prices are not cheap but they have WINE! Bathrooms are alright but they’re singles(i hate singles) -.5 stars The service was not that great(pretty girls aren’t always the best employees) — .5 stars

Coffee and alcohol are amazing here. The food is horrible, like unfinishable. Too large of a menu for a small kitchen. Jim Ward, please, stop with the food!

With coffee and full service bar this is a great place to meet friends, meet a client, or just chill. Trendy menu with vegan options, or you can order a pub burger. Service is phenomenal. Atmosphere has an upbeat but chillish vibe. You can not go wrong here.

My husband has been wanting to try this place out since we happened upon them driving by! We arrived at 6:40& was pleasantly surprised they were serving Happy Hour! We had a wonderful shrimp skewer and house salad appetizer for $ 5 each.

I want to give a much lower rating because the service was pathetic. Slow, missed an item I ordered and never checked in. But the food was SO good. Everything I ordered was delicious, creative, hearty and healthy. The vegan options are legit. Great trendy atmosphere and a great drink selection. I’m coming back here as soon as possible

Great food. Everything is fresh and made to order. Full bar and coffee bistro. Might be my new favorite lunch location.

The restaurant is a great place to relax, study, and try(slightly) exotic food. It’s just a really great place to chill and eat :)

There are a lot of things that I love about this place… The Wes Anderson décor, the creative drinks on the menu, the proximity to my house. The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because the last time I came with some friends the service was deplorable. I came with a few friends to catch up on a Tuesday night. I started with some mulled wine, then a hot toddy, and capped it all off with the grand Maman. You would think that’s a lot of drinks for a Tuesday night, but don’t worry, it took our waitress at least an hour to come back between them, which at first was fine because my friends and I were catching up, but once we asked for the checks it got worse. We asked for our checks, which normally means that you get your check within 10 minutes or so and pay out right? I guess this place has other ideas because we asked for our checks and were ignored for about 30 minutes and then finally when we got them our waitress acted like that was a normal amount of time to wait to bring our checks. I’ll certainly be back here, just because this place is one of a kind in décor and creative drinks, but perhaps they need to hire a some more waitstaff to improve their service.

I have been to Eloise many times but my review is based on my last visit when i finally sat down and ordered food. The bar aspect of it is pretty amazing. Yes it is a very hipster setting and its kinda refreshing honestly. There aren’t too many locations like this in the area. Their selection in terms of beer and mixed drinks is pretty nice. The special thing about this place is the spiked teas and coffee. I had a hot tea with Jameson and it was so relaxing. However the food was a different story. It was very cold and that went for everybody at the table. Everything was pretty flavorless. I ordered a french fry sandwich basically with kimchi and the fries were bland. I was really excited about the kimchi but it was so little kimchi compared to the size of the burger i couldn’t taste it at all. Kimchi is something you can definitely smell and taste, not here. My girlfriend at the time ordered the veggie enchiladas which sounded so good on paper but were disappointing. Flavorless and cold in the middle. It was very disappointing since their menu is so diverse. I wanted to try everything. Next time i shall stick to the bar.

Definitely a favorite spot! Food is awesome, beer selection is good, and even their coffee is great. The atmosphere is cute, cozy, and eclectic. I just wish they hadn’t removed the mushroom masala from their menu. Otherwise great.

This place is so cute! We came for coffee and a light breakfast. The coffee is delicious and the baked goodies look amazing. The maple Greek yogurt with dried fruit and nuts was incredible. We are going to come back later in the week for either lunch or dinner because the menu looks out of this world!

Yesterday evening I wanted to find a nice, quiet spot to read a few chapters and get a bite to eat and something to sip on. I didnt want franchise food or a rowdy bar… Glad I chose Eloise. I was worried it would be noisy and crowded, being a bar on Saturday around 630pm, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is a bit hippster-y, but really laid back. The lighting was low(kind of hard to read in, but I decided to read at a bar on Saturday night so that should’ve been expected). Plenty of seating: high tables, low tables, booth, bar seating, outdoor tables, and a room in the back for larger parties. Riko(hope I’m spelling that correctly) seated me in a quiet corner booth, and Danielle was with me shortly after to take my order. I couldn’t decide what I wanted to drink, but I was considering some kind of sweet red wine. I let Danielle decide from there. She brought out a sangria. Normally, I’m not a fan of red wine or sangria, but last night my taste buds were satisfied. Everything on the menu sounded pretty tasty(tons of vegan and veggie options), but I went with a BBQ sammich and the pub chips. Pulled pork on a roll topped with chopped pickles and grilled onions with thin cut potato chips. Simple, it hit the spot. After I finished my food I got thirsty for something a little less sweet; I ordered an extra dirty gin martini. Riko recommended I try Hendrick’s brand instead of Tanqueray. Again my taste buds were satisfied. After reading a while, I guess my sweet tooth came back, and I got hungry for dessert… again, plenty of vegan options. But, the sweet potato cheesecake was recommended, so I went for it with a cup of decaf coffee. The cheesecake was ahhhmazing! If you’re a fan of the«pumpkin spice» craze, I’m sure you’ll like it. I’m pretty sure it had a gingersnap crust, that was my favorite! The best part? My check for dinner, drinks, and dessert with coffee was only about 30 bucks!

It was a slow Thursday night and I wanted one last cocktail before calling it a night. Decided to check out Eloise. Very glad I stopped by because I love this place! It wasn’t packed but it had healthy business at 1100pm. They have a front patio which had quite a few people out there when I arrived. The bar itself has a good amount of seating(booth and tables) of different sizes to accommodate various group sizes. I pulled up a seat at the bar and immediately noticed that the vast majority of people were couples. And it makes immediate sense. There’s a certain relaxed intimacy to Eloise which makes it a perfect date place. I had eaten earlier in the night but of course I was interested in some late night food. The kitchen had closed at 1000 but they still offered their dessert menu. I ordered the cheesecake. It was fresh, very tasty and hit the spot. Their cocktail menu was great and had a bunch of interesting drinks I want to try. I settled on the Olive Branch. A mixture of cucumber tequila, olive juice, and jalapeño hot sauce, the Olive Branch was amazing. You could smell and taste the individual flavors. It was a perfect mix of spicy and salty. But not overpowering in any way. The bartender definitely took great care when making the drink. I also loved the service. They had at least 2 but I think 3 bartenders working the bar and room. They were prompt with requests and very polite. The bartender remembered my name, shook my hand when I left, and said goodbye when I left. Small things to be sure but very welcome. I will definitely be a regular of Eloise! Update: Came back in on a Tuesday night. Pretty brisk business considering the day. Tried three drinks with a different bartender. The Inez was well prepared but not really my thing. I tried their old-fashioned next. Very good. I normally love the big ice spheres but they don’t work very well for old-fashioned because they take to long to melt. I basically ended up staring at my drink for 5 minutes waiting to drink it(otherwise I would have finished the drink in two big sips lol). Also tried a gin martini, neat. Very good. They make their drinks strong which I approve. I stand by my original five star review and look forward to coming back regularly.

My husband loves stopping in this place when he is in El Paso. This was my first time visiting EP with him and he really wanted me to try it out. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. It was delicious but boy was it got. I did not read the description when ordering so I opened the sandwich and it had green chile peppers. It was so good and flavorful that I had to fight the heat. Yum! I do recommend but have a full glass of water with you if you can’t handle heat. My husband had a rice bowl with beef. I tried some of his and it was delicious as well. The décor was unique and charming. I found myself wanting to go home and use some of their ideas. The service was great and very attentive. No complaints about anything. I understand my husbands desire to go when visiting El Paso. We are hoping for a Houston location one day.

I came here for breakfast with a friend. I was very impressed with the overall ambiance of Eloise. The weather was nice so we opted for outdoor seating. Problem with that is getting the waitress to notice you when she is also serving people inside. No worries though, we were there to relax and talk anyways. I had the bacon eggs benedict and my friend had the soup of the day. I also had a dirty chai tea latte. Everything was good. Our only complaint was that my friend said her soup was very spicy when that wasn’t indicated on the menu or when the waitress described it. I think I’d return more for the relaxing atmosphere.

This used to be a great breakfast place, with a unique menu and a wide variety of coffees, really the best option on the West side of El Paso. It’s none of that any longer so if you’re looking for any if he above, look somewhere else. For unknown reasons(maybe to get rid of existing customers?) they decided to change their menu into an inferior one, reduce the hours their kitchen is open, and more recently change their coffers as well(I ordered a Café Cubano and got an Espresso and my wife ordered an Espresso con Pano and got plain filter coffee in an Espresso cup). Sad and disappointing!

Spectacular food. Mm! Being a server however, one thing I’m picky about is service. Nobody greeted/offered anything/brought me a menu for ten minutes. Three employees were behind the bar talking. I started walking around looking for a menu thinking maybe it was self service. Finally some random guy started talking to me and gave me his own menu. Like, come on guys! I get it, I WANT to tip you but not with service like that. Especially in such a small place. So I leave my rating right at the middle. Also based on what l saw on the menu I expected to pay $ 7 but was taken back when I was charged $ 15 and didn’t get an itemized receipt. Oh well. Maybe next time will be better.

Everything from food to alcohol to coffee, this place rocks. Seriously. I’ll make this simple— Food: brunch and dinner. The menu is pretty simple– 1 page of choices. I got the Tofu Poblano, which came with a side salad, and it was super delicious. The salad was fresh and the poblano pepper was perfectly spicy and went great with all the topped veggies. We also ordered the cheese plate which I definitely recommend. They also have a veggie panini and a turkey sandwich, and other egg scrambles. Drinks: You have GOT to try the green chili infused tequila Bloody Mary. OHMY. Party in my mouth(get your head out of the gutter, you nasty). They also have tomato and basil infused tequila Bloody Mary, which was also nomz. Coffee: I got the Cappuccino. They also have Latte, Americano, Macchiato, and Mocha. It’s not like Starbucks, so don’t expect a cup of sugar milk with whip cream. It’s espresso, hot milk, and foam(cappuccino). Mmm, perfect cup of coffee, if you ask me. The place is super chill, the price is very reasonable, food/drinks are innovative and unique. I highly recommend this place!

I don’t know who the hell this Eloise person is, but she’s got a whole lot going for her! Yesterday after a long nonsensical day I was totally beat and ready for bed by 8 pm, but was sucked in by the daunting world of Facebook and Instagram. By 9 I came to the realization I wasn’t as tired as I was pretending to be, just extremely lazy. And right on queue the Text Message Gods delivered a message that was something to the tune of, «I want coffee. Do you want some coffee!» Yes, a coffee proposal was shouted at me… really not asking, just kind of letting me know I was getting coffee. But hey, I’m in. I happily jumped in the car believing we were going to some awesome undisclosed coffee heaven location, but immediately realized he had no idea where he wanted coffee from. Unilocal to the rescue once again! Eloise was only a few minutes away from where we were, so we headed towards Shadow Mountain and found Eloise with no trouble. It was a Saturday so as you can imagine this place was packed with only a couple of tables open. We snagged one in the middle room in the corner closest to the bar area which originally looked like a good idea, but there really was so many other tables that service was a little slow. Totally forgivable though because every server/barista was more that happy to check on us while passing by. Even though I was now being a bit more active, I was still in a lazy state and didn’t really look over the drink menu and just asked for a Latte when one of the baristas came over. I then quickly added, «Do you guys have anything Chai?» Directly under the Latte was a Chai Latte. In my best Homer Simpson voice: Doh! The baristas smile never faded as she pointed it out to me. After drinks, we lingered for a good hour or more and people watched with voice overs. A majority of the conversations going on(according to us) were about who had the gnarliest beard. Good times, good people, and extremely reasonably priced.
