I see a lot of potential at this place. The location is big enough for kids to run around in and the setting is good. The biggest disappointment is that most of the toys are mostly broken and they look like they’ve never been cleaned. Paid $ 20 for my 4 year old to play with dirty and used old toys. What’s more is there is no air conditioner in this place. The attendant(an older lady) had 2 small fans as a source of ventilation. The place was so stuffy and hot that we left after 1 ½ hours. Definitely not worth the money.

Let me start this by saying I have no kids of my own, only two nieces and one nephew(all under the age of five). Since I first stumbled upon Funtastic Punch, not to be confused with Funtastico on the Eastside(completely different businesses… both for children though), my sister hasn’t been to EP for a visit with the kiddos so I can’t definitively tell you how much fun this place would be for children. Funtastic Punch is 50% toy store, 50% play place. The toy store area is full of many different things all for different ages. On my last trip I saw stuffed animals, board games, arts and crafts, fake jewelery, books and more. I think you could take any kid under ten here and they’d find quite a few things they wanted to take home. I will say there was no real age flow at FP, but it isn’t a large store so finding age appropriate toys isn’t really an issue. From what I saw of the play area, it’s definitely toddler friendly. The toys and jungle gym(of sorts) are built for the very, very, very young. But you can also rent out the area and just use it as a venue. For a small store, everything was clean and organized. I ended up buying a few toys for my oldest nieces birthday. Almost everything said which age group it was for so that made finding the right toys easy.

FP allowed us to have our daughter’s b-day party here. Setup was scheduled between 4−5pm. Arrived just past 4 and the place was not prepared. Business had just closed and there were kids and parents everywhere. We eventually were able to begin setting up at 4:20. Management needs to have a 30min break to clean up instead of having the parents show up as they are closing down one party. Totally unacceptable.

Attended a bday party here and my 4 year old had a blast! I love that you can take in your own food and they provide a fridge. I can’t wait to take my daughter and her friends back for play dates. I really hope it lasts!
