Excellent academy with tons of classes ranging from beginner to advanced; kids to adults. The professor and other coaches are all awesome.

My son(5 y/o), my daughter(14 y/o) and I(34 y/o) all train at Gracie Barra El Paso. We all really enjoy the exceptional training environment there. We have tried out other academies/dojos, and GBEP is BYFAR the best. Professor Jeff Vigil is a Black Belt and is very patient and super knowledgeable. He is GREAT with kids! Trini, the administrator, is really friendly and helpful and will go out of her way to get you set up to train. All of the instructors and instructor’s assistants and knowledgeable and make the training informational and fun. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu itself is a lot of fun and GBEP makes the experience that much better.

Gracie Barra Family is Awesome! Good for kids and adults! Teacher is awesome and very patient. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend it for those seeking to learn self defense, looking for a new hobby or an alternate means of exercise!

a black belt teaches the classes here and I love how he interacts so good with the kids! classes range from young children to adults of all ages. this place is always full in the afternoons so seating for parents is limited. owners are really nice and the whole ambiance is family friendly. they sell shirts and gi’s here so you can place your order. They attend competitions and it’s a great place to learn how to kick butt. My 11 years old loves it and I see whole families join and practice together. bring sandals. because your barefoot on the mat for an hour and you get really sweaty.
