I love Grimaldis. Its a consistently good chain restaurant that has high quality food, solid ambience, and a minimal wait time. The El Paso location does a fine job meeting the high quality standards put out by the other locations(at least San Antonio’s location). First off, Grimaldi’s alcoholic drinks are top notch. The bartenders do good pours without the excessive ice to take up precious cup space(you know what I’m talking about). I really liked their red Sangria(they offer a red and white). They had a nice selection of wines available too. For an appetizer, their house salads are insanely huge. Like seriously, I split one with the gf and we still had more than half a bowl left over. Their pizza ingredients are very fresh and when you get meat(I recommend the meatballs) they aren’t stingy. I will say, one knock about their business model, if you order a topping on half a pizza, it is still full cost. So pizzas can get expensive fast. Also, they don’t serve ranch with their pizza which I’ve always hated about high end pizza joints. Ah well. Our friends got a calzone which was equally massive and got high marks from them. For dessert I ordered their blueberry cheesecake and it did not disappoint. Seriously, their desserts are fantastic. The Fountains area has a lot of fun restaurant chains but if you haven’t been to Grimaldi’s you should definitely check it out.

This place is delicious. I’m not going to lie, but I HATE when pizza is burnt. Calzone was burnt as well. Service was great, though. The vibe was laid back and everything came out in a timely matter. Wonderful pizza overall, highly recommended!

As a former NYer, that now lives in Austin, that was visiting El Paso for work, I did not expect to be eating pizza during my trip but I read the reviews and decided to give this place a try! I got a regular pizza with meatball and garlic. The amount of garlic was great! I love garlic and I was quite satisfied. The meatball pieces were also quite acceptable. There could have been a touch more sauce but there is an option to get a side of sauce(for an additional charge) so I would probably recommend that. I’m giving 3 stars due to the cost. My 12 inch personal pizza was $ 17. That is super expensive for the size! Even in NYC, you can get a large pie for less than that. So although the food was tasty, I probably will eat elsewhere the rest of my trip due to not being able to justify an almost $ 20 personal pizza.

The facility itself was very nice, as were the staff. We ordered a split pizza, half pepperoni and half with some other toppings. The pizza was fairly pedestrian. I wanted to try this place due to all of the great reviews on here, paired with the photos which shows the pizza to be very tasty. It was not bad. It’s just that I have experienced far better.

The pizza was delicious! We got«The Don», which had pepperoni, meatballs, and sausage with a red sauce. They weren’t skimping on those toppings. I wanted to add sundried tomatoes and mushrooms to the pizza. The tomatoes were an additional $ 4 and mushrooms were an additional $ 2. We waited quite a while for our pizza… a couple that came after us got theirs before us. Finally our pizza came out. Barely any sun dried tomatoes and mushroom. It seemed like a sprinkle. Don’t add any extra stuff to your pizza, not worth it. I love eating pizza with ranch! No ranch. Sad.

If you haven’t gone to Grimaldis yet you are MISSINGOUT. It’s so good. Im actually not much of a pizza craver but I CRAVE Grimaldis pizza. Not only do I crave the pizza but I love the restaurant and the location. The pizza is always made with fresh ingredients do your choice and always tastes so good with the taste you can only get from a brick oven… I always get pepperoni with onions so flavorful. You can’t go wrong with getting pesto instead of tomato sauce either THEYAREBOTHGREAT. The atmosphere of this place makes me so happy… The music is always great the place is decorated perfectly and the outdoor seating it SO nice, and from the many times I’ve been there the service has always been AMAZING. THEONLY«DOWNSIDE» is that they don’t have ranch… BUTTHEYDON’T NEEDIT…(I know sounds crazy) seriously though… GOTRYIT!

One word: phenomenal. Literally everything about this place is phenomenal. If you’re looking for a great pizza, look no further; without a doubt the best pizza in El Paso. Plus it’s in the best location in El Paso: The Fountains at Farah. Great outdoor seating which is very nice cause the weather in El Paso is absolutely sublime. It’s like Southern California just about everyday of the year. But I digress…

Really good pizza. First time having grimaldis and i must say now I have to find one near where I live. Great thin crust not crunchy but no to soft it was perfect. I ordered the 4 cheese and added Pepperoni.

Always great food and service! Ask for Johnny! The bruschetta trio is fabulous and goes well with a Caesar salad! Recommend fresh tomatoes and basil!

The pizza here is awesome. Just as good as other cities. Four of us shared a large pizza and a large house salad. We also all shared a coconut caramel cheesecake that was to die for. I think the prices are fair especially considering the quality and the size of the pizza. Definitely stop in!

I went there tonight for the first time with a big group for a Bday party. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Then a strange thing happened, I had a gift card. The link would not open on my phone. I sent the email to my friend and it wouldn’t open on his phone either. I told the manager what was going on and that the link was broken. He decided to give me the 25.00 credit and provided me with the number to customer service. I offered to send him the 25 dollars when I get it resolved. He told me don’t worry about it and he didn’t want my 1st experience to be a bad one. That was amazing customer service and I will never forget ti. There are many restaurant managers that can learn from this. I will be back and never forget how well I was treated, The food is awesome also.

Now this place is such a different pizza experience in El Paso. I love the décor and the environment here because it’s traditional like the tablecloths yet modernized in the lighting and the seating. I like how the menu is broken down for pizza customization. The choice of sauces and the dough are great and you feel pretty free to create your own pie at a fancier place than Domino’s. I really like the table set up with wine glasses on every table. That makes me want to order wine every time and it makes me feel like i’m having a more upscale experience. The pizza here is amazing. The crust is always perfect and i usually order my pizza well done to get a better crunchiness. I usually order traditional sauce with mushrooms and pepperoni or a pesto sauce with spinach, tomatoes, and artichokes. The servers are always really nice and they are helpful with topping combinations and sauces. I always want to come here when i don’t need a $ 5 hot and ready.

I don’t care what anyone says, best pizza in town hands down. I think I came here three times in one week after my first visit! First, let me start off by saying I love how the menu is clean. Being a fatty, I mean foodie, if you give me too many choices dinner becomes hard for me. Love, love, love the food. I could eat Cesar Salad and mushroom and ham pizza all day and all year from this place. Also, it’s fancy in a way for a pizza spot. I can dress up and eat pizza! Yay! The customer service is always great. I’ve had some waitresses that are just okay but others are way awesome! The manager usually makes his way around to say hello which of course as all my reviews are based on, customer service is so important! My recommendation is to try this place out! If you love pizza then you will Love this place. I sure do! Park under ground, it’s so much easier! Update: been here now like 12 times(yes, I know, I haven’t checked in that many) and I still love this place. They keep getting better and better. I want to eat this every single day! Yay! I’m dying laughing at all the reviews saying that this place is expensive. Ummm, if you can’t afford the fountains then go to little ceasars, really.

We waited about 25 minutes to get a table around 7pm on a Thursday night. I had to download an app on my phone to see how many parties were ahead of me and they would text me when our table was ready. I never received a text, I guess because I was already sitting in the lobby waiting. The place is nice and its is pretty busy. We ordered a small pizza — half pepperoni and half pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. My daughter got a pizza dough and coloring crayons to color while we waited. Our food came out pretty slow, but the waiter was friendly and the manager did check up on us since we have not got our food yet. When we got our pizza the crust was a little too burnt for my taste on one end. Other than that, I think the pizza I had at Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn, Ny was a better experience. I only came here because my hubby wanted to try«nyc» style pizza.

This place has delicious brick oven pizza! The only thing is is that it is pretty pricy. A large(about the size of an extra large pizza at other places) is $ 18 plus each topping is a certain price– for instance if you want artichokes $ 4.00, pepperoni $ 2.00, extra sausage $ 4.00. These aren’t the exact prices but it’s an example. They don’t have ranch for your pizza or hot sauce either. The atmosphere is inviting, there’s a wine and beer selection as well!

I believe it to be a bit ridiculous how they have charged me full price for all toppings and pizzas even though it was half. I split a large pizza half with standard marinara sauce with black olives $ 2& pepperoni $ 2.(Normal large if a whole pizza would have been $ 16) The other half was white with garlic. The topping artichoke hearts $ 4.(Normal whole large $ 18) The most frustrating part was that they have the audacity to charge the $ 18 versus splitting it down the middle & charging $ 17. I wouldn’t mind at all, but the worst part was that the white garlic portion was nearly a third 1⁄3. Not even close to half. I wish I had included pictures to show. Not to mention they charge the full $ 4 for artichoke hearts when there was hardly any present on the 1⁄3 of the pizza. There must have been only a small peace on each slice and there was even a slice where there was none at all. I am from New York and am considered by many a food connoisseur. I by no means have any problem spending the money, however, the product result must be worth it & reflect. This by no means did. I have been to countless pizza places around the world to include Italy and my favorite actually being in New York and Chicago. But as much hype as I’ve heard about this place I was severely disappointed. Gave it a fair chance. But if you’re going to have half and half, I don’t expect perfect symmetry; however I would expect if you’re going to charge on the more expensive half you shouldn’t be cutting corners saving money by being stingy on the toppings let alone making it 1⁄3. If that were an option on the menu then I would have chosen my portion to be 2⁄3. It was as if it were the end of the night and I were getting the scraps at the bottom of the container for artichoke hearts which shouldn’t be the case because I was there at 7pm. I don’t mean to bash on them too hard, I’m merely stating my first experience. On a positive note I tried the Cannoli for dessert and it was great. Again I’ve traveled quite a bit to include Italy and this Cannoli has made my top 10. So, I’d recommend you try as well.

I have two experiences to post about this place. The first one is the reason I returned, oddly enough. My wife originally spotted this place for it’s reputation for featuring brick oven pizza, which we are super huge fans off ever since sampling a well known New England pizzeria known as Bertucci’s. So I proceed to order carry out from Grimaldi’s: a large cheese, a calzone for the daughter and a salad for the wife. Upon arrival, I notice that the wait for this order is over 35 minutes long. But I don’t worry too much about this, as I’m basically just sitting at the bar playing on my iPhone waiting patiently for my order. Plus, it’s not like I’m starving at the time. Only, after about the first 20 minutes or so… something unexpected happens. The manager herself comes up from behind to talk to me. It turns out the chef burnt the pizza I ordered and she ordered them to make a new one. She came up to explain the situation to me and then apologize profusely. They proceed to remake the order. The second pizza comes out perfectly cooked. This next part is what shocked me. Upon checkout, I ask the manager how much I owe them, as she never gave me a total cost. She just waves me off, tells me not to worry about it because of the long wait and the fact that the first pizza was screwed up, and assures me it’s been taken care of. I take my cue and proceed out the door with… apparently…a free meal. I am so flabbergasted by the concept of not being required to pay due to one minor screw up, that I call my wife to let her know of what just happened. She can’t believe it either! But is nevertheless… pleased. The aforementioned experience alone was enough to intrigue me to return for future venue. Many of you are probably wondering how the pizza turned out. Well, since we only ordered a cheese pizza, it was honestly bland. So I suggested to the wife that the next time we ate there, we order a pizza with actual toppings so as to add flavor to the otherwise well prepared brick oven pizza. Because the crust of the pizza itself was perfect. They might want to rethink their sauce recipe though. On my second visit(again, carryout), I order a pizza with ricotta cheese and sun dried tomatoes. This time it tasted MUCH better! And they didn’t burn the pizza at all. So they clearly know how to cook a pizza. I, for one, would not mind one bit to visit their bar with the misses for a casual date night. They are conveniently located right by The Fountains which features a strong WiFi signal; so that’s a major plus if you happen to be sitting in the restaurant rather than carrying out.

The first time I went to Grimaldi’s, it was their opening weekend and I decided to reserve judgement until I’ve tried them again. I took a very long hiatus, but finally had the courage to try Grimaldi’s again. Long story short: the first time I went, it was chaos, but the management swooped in and made sure our meals were on the house. This time around, the difference was day and night. When you check in with the hostess, there’s a pan with dough sitting out. To me, it seemed odd at first, but I found out it’s to keep kids preoccupied. It kept my buddy’s two kids entertained up until our pizza showed up. Our food came out quick! Not sure if it’s because we were expecting to be waiting for over an hour, like last time. But the pizza was absolutely delicious. My only gripe about this place is that the topping prices for pizzas and calzones are unreasonable to me. For instance, bacon costs $ 4. Regardless if you put it on a personal pizza or a large pizza. Even if you’re only putting bacon on half the pizza, it’s still $ 4. Also, each topping has an individual price somewhere between $ 2-$ 4. So the pizzas can get REALLY pricey, if you want more than one topping. tl;dr: Drastically improved, but good food comes at a price.

The Fountains have really attracted some great up and coming chains to the area. And I’m not talking about played out chains you can get anywhere, I’m talking about the good stuff that doesn’t make you immediately regret your decision… the good stuff like Nothing Bundt Cakes and none other than Grimaldi’s. Yep, we got a Grimaldi’s! We got a Grimaldi’s! I’m not trying to sound like a kid gloating, but WEGOT A GRIMALDI’S! Most famously known as a NY favorite and we have one here in the Sun City! A few weeks ago I met up at Grimaldi’s with my boyfriend for lunch. They’re located on the lower half of the Fountains towards the end(you’ll actually find most of the food options on the lower half). I walked in and after a quick friendly exchange with the hostess, I found my way to our table. The place was pretty packed, but everyone that came in after us seemed to get a table in a timely manner. I like the openess of Grimaldi’s. The windows are huge and there’s a view of some of the fountains outside. It’s in a nice little nook. On one wall there is this huge mirror that made the area bright and I’m sure it illuminates the restaurant at night. There were quite a few things that caught my eye that I found incredibly simple and beautiful like the wine bottle chandeliers. I love their use of traditional red and white checkered tablecloths and the black and white photos of the subway stops that give this Grimaldi’s a very NYC feel. I’m always up for trying new things and what better way to try new things than to allow someone else do the ordering? So I can’t tell you exactly which pizza we ended up with, but it had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and a red sauce. So good. The mozzarella on top tasted fresh too. And it’s fire-baked! So it has the nice darkened spots that have been licked by the flame. I live for that! When I looked at the menu, I did see they have cheesecake, tiramisu, and cannolis. Yum! Definitely on my «to-try list» on my next trip.
