Came here last week and the pizza was very tasty. I had three slices(I know, it’s a lot) and I was just right! There was no greasy aftertaste, it was all cooked perfectly. So we came back in today for lunch around 2 pm and were greeted right away. I do love that. Each time we’ve been greeted right away. We weren’t ready to order so quickly so we asked for a few minutes. something strange that did happen was our original server didn’t come back, so another lady(server #2) came up and asked if our order had already been taken. We said no… and right as we were about to order, our original first server ran up and stood right in front of the 2nd lady as she talked. They glared at each other. Can you say awkward? Idk if they were joking or serious, but whatever the case is, don’t do that in front of your table. Anyway the food is good :)

Great place and great service! I had a delious pastrami with everything and an antipasto salad that was full of meat. My mom had the spaghetti and she couldn’t rave more about it… I did have the pizza but it look really good. The only thing is they don’t take debit/credit card. Cash and checks only :(

Pizza was ok, the service was great and the prices were fair. The reason I rated it 3 stars was the pizza was subpar in my opinion. Other than that great service

This place is pretty good! Only thing is that the building is kinda falling apart and it takes a while to get food. Other than that, everything is great and the food itself is delicious!

So glad this place is only a few blocks down. I’ve had many business lunches here, everyone loves it. They are closed for a few weeks in the summer for family vaca, but other than that they are always delicious. Pizza’s are great with a greek salad. I order it to go all the time and it’s always ready in 15 minutes, I never have to wait. Love the consistency and friendliness! Stop by you’ll love the cheesy pizza!

The first time I walked into this place the pizza sucked, it was wet and saggy, the manager apologized said the ovens where broke and the got the wrong cheese from the vender(talk about a shitty day) I asked for my tab and the waitress said it was on the house. So needless to say I gave the place another shot, I’ve maybe been there 100 or more times since my first visit in the early 90’s…All I can say is house of pizza has the best pizza in town PERIOD!

Bring cash! Or be prepared to use a wonky atm! The pizza was delicious! We’re not typically a fan of anything but a thin crust, so we were a bit apprehensive when our pan arrived. We ordered a 12 inch to share. The toppings were generous. The crust was perfect! It almost seemed to melt in your mouth. We ended up taking three slices home and they were great for breakfast!

The green chile pizza is really delicious. I don’t understand why anyone would rather eat pepperoni. As I munched down on my third slice of gooey, cheesy, spicy perfection, I thought to myself, «Those folks at House of Pizza really know what they’re doing.» I also thought, «Why do I even EAT other pizzas?» Yes, I really thought those two things. Be sure to have cash on hand as they don’t accept cards.

Checked the men’s restroom. Cleanest men’s facilities I have seen. Know the cooking areas had to be clean.

Amazing salads and pizza! Best place in El Paso! It’s a family owned joint in a neighborhood anyone would be proud of. Stop in and get the antipasto salad and house special pie! You will fall in love

Pretty well known to be some of the best pizza in town. I’ve been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed. Consistently great pizza, subs and pasta. It’s also got some of the best pastrami in town. The service has never been bad, and usually ranges from good to great. But brace yourself, because here comes the bad. Being family owned the entire restaurant takes a 5 week long vacation. They’re also closed every Sunday and Monday regardless. House of Pizza also doesn’t take credit/debit cards. Cash and checks only. Inconvenient, but it’s the price you pay for great pizza. Notably great things to try: pastrami pizza, pastrami sub, antipasto salad, anything with meatballs, lasagna.

Was in the area again and found House of Pizza open. Decided to give it a try. My family and I all enjoyed the pizza. Probably the best we’ve had in El Paso.

My coworker brought me here today for lunch. Awesome food. I had a small(7″) meat ball sub that came with sauce and bell peppers. My buddy has a small pastrami, his favorite thing on the menu. The staff was very friendly, the food was great and both of our meals and drinks were $ 16. Saw many other dishes come out such as their salads, pasta, and lasagna. I can’t wait to go back. Bring cash though. No debit or credit cards.

No sure why they don’t have a 5 star rating. Super friendly, delicious salad, and great food. This spot is awesome! Worth checking out. Oh and bring cash. No debit or credit cards allowed.

Tasty, Good Customer Service, Charming. A few adjectives(and a statement) that can describe this local pizza joint. Originally, I went a few years back but today in between hectic meetings and my friend’s off time, we decided to rediscover the House of Pizza. As you enter, you notice the yellow walls decorated with various famous athletes posing in their respective sport’s most famed poses. The wooden booths that line the interior make the place feel very comfortable, how a local pizza joint SHOULD feel. I was greeted by what I must say was the MOSTFRIENDLIEST wait staff EVER(notice the caps). My drink was always refilled without me having to ask, they constantly checked up on us and to top it off, they ALWAYS smiled. Props to them because in my book, customer service is EVERYTHING. The pizza I ordered, Mushroom and Pepperoni, came just in under 15 mins and I have to say, it looked NOM. The small pizza sat at 10′ circumference, which was big enough to feed one or two people. First bite in, HOOKED. The sauce was phenomenal, robust and smooth. The cheese was of the right cheese constancy, meaning it didn’t slide off the slice. The toppings were fresh and cooked to perfection. The House of Pizza is AMAZING. Seats as many as you can fit in your party. They tend to get busy around lunch time so there will be a wait if you go during then. Only down fall, they DON’T accept any major debit/credit cards, make sure to take a few twenties. If you are a pizza aficionado, include this in your must to go pizza places in El Paso. If you haven’t tried it, GO! Its worth every minute and bite! –A local foodie

Great Pizza — one of the surprises when moving to El Paso for me was how many great pizza joints there are here. Seriously, every hole in the wall here has some great pizza. That said, House of Pizza is one of the very best. Great crust, real cheese, nice feel to the place. Would be a good first date. Its odd that it doesn’t take cash but I’ve learned that is pretty par for course in El Paso where cash is still king.
