I have been in one other time but can’t recall how my experience was. Today was nice. The hostess and server were both friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and thankfully not too packed (I mean, it’s a Tuesday morning so that’s probably why!) but anyways, I felt that our server went above and beyond by providing a snack (free of charge) for my daughter while we waited for our food. The food didn’t even take long to get out. The only reason it’s four out of five stars was because the food wasn’t as tasty as I would’ve hoped… Not bad, but not great either.

Never been a huge IHOP fan myself, as I normally Waffle House. However, since there are no Waffle Houses in the area, this becomes the place to go for good drunk food. Never really had a complaint: Coffee was hot, food tasted like it should, and the service was decent (could have been worse, could have been better…), but most of all it did its job. Provided us with cheap-ish food in our attempts to regain sobriety.

Came here on a Friday morning. It was busy but not completely packed. Waitress was quick to get our order and our food came out pretty fast.
Food was pretty food. I asked for no onions in a chicken fajita omelet and there were actually no onions in it.

The food was good. Our waitress was good. However, we were seated for 10 minutes or more before a waitress talked to us even though five waitresses walked past us repeatedly. What irked me even more was a table was seated after our order was taken and they were helped within two minutes of being seated. Honestly, us being ignored felt racially motivated, either that or they ignored us because my husband was wearing his Army uniform. Either way, I was really upset that it took so long for someone to talk to us.

Crap food eggs came out under cooked. I have no idea what they did to the waffles but whatever it was it was horrible. Had to ask twice for coffee. There were times when I couldn’t find our waitress. Service was poor and so was the food. I wanted to hurl afterwards and I didn’t even eat that much! How do you screw up bacon eggs and hash browns?! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

It’s a cold and windy night here in El Paso. Our family stopped at our neighborhood IHOP for a warm dinner. After an excruciating 45 minute wait, wherein one of our diners failed to receive the salad that went with their meal (after 45 minutes we can’t get a salad out?), we received our food cold — cold — cold! The steak tips– pancakes –veggies– cold as ice. IHOP itself is a great chain but the service and food is horrible. Maybe management is on vacation or just doesn’t care. We were really looking forward to a great meal but maybe this will help keep others from ruining their evening meal with their family.

Calling in orders for pick up have consistently ended in disaster. We’ve been overcharged and given wrong orders for the last several times without fail. The manager, Hector, is always apologetic, but the ladies who take orders need retraining.
