This is probably the worst customer service restaurant you’ll ever find. Their food is good but their service is really bad. They don’t even reply to our thank you’s! When i asked for some napkins they didn’t bring it until 15 mins later!

I ordered the cheese naan and when all of the food was brought out, I did not receive my(4) pieces of cheese naan. And another person did not receive the garlic naan. My friend who ordered the cheese naan received his(4) pieces, I just assumed they were going to bring it out in a few minutes. When we asked about it, the waitress went in the back and returned, telling us that the man who served us counted all of them and it was correct. SWe were missing two orders and we were told that we were wrong, luckily for them my friend just asked for another order and to just put it on his tab. I was furious, we should not have had to pay extra for another order when we didn’t even receive the first order. Bad customer service. This is not my first bad experience with India palace. Would not recommend.

The food was alright. The service was horrific. Instead of putting all of our naan together, they really should’ve just separated it by order just so that there isn’t any confusing and forcing us to order another basket of naan. But other than that, the vegetarian menu offered really great food but don’t order medium heat. They really should just call that«plain».

India Palace is our go to Place for special occasions and Sunday after church. The food is delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala is fantastic and the Kheer for desert is a guilty pleasure. Sometimes the food can take a while to get, but I’m hopeful it’s because they prepare everything made to order. My favorite thing here though, is the fact that the owner/manager remembers my son’s name and asks about him everytime we come in. Apparently I have the only 9 year old that loves goat curry.

Roach in chicken tikka masala. Food is tasteless, unhygienic and very poor quality. Total waste of money and horrible experience. Feeling sick even thinking about the curry.

I had high hopes for India palace especially with the slim pickings for Indian food in El Paso. Unfortunately India palace was very disappointing. Food was average, small portion sizes, stingy with the meat(which was tough and overlooked), and expensive. Service was very slow and inattentive. Drinks took forever. Refills were slow. And the food took waaaay too long to come out. Garlic naan and cheese naan were good though. Breaded vegetable Appetizer was also solid with a sweet dipping sauce. I ordered lamb vindaloo and my date ordered beef curry. Either they messed the order up or the food was so generic looking(and tasting) that the dishes were indistinguishable. Also the dishes lacked thickness. It was more soup than traditional Indian. Very disappointing. I doubt I will go back.

Food tastes good but compared to my prior Indian food dining experiences, this place is pretty stingy with their servings. It’s pretty disappointing.

Food is delicious. We had the lunch buffet. The Channa masala is wonderful and so is the korma. Naan bread is great I just wish they had garlic naan available with the buffet. The other Indian restaurant is better but this place has a buffet. So you get more for your money. Buffet is $ 9.95. 11am-2:30pm.

A friend of mine insisted on curry and I’m always down for that. I learned something on my trip to this restaurant that I hadn’t known for 27 years prior: curry can take different forms. When I lived in Corpus Christi, we only had Thai restaurants and I grew accustomed to their way of cooking curry. I went into this expecting that and, I’ll admit, it’s what effected my rating. We ordered a chicken appetizer that was delicious and an onion one that was fairly good. We each ordered curry and I was a bit surprised by what I got.(Again, I was accustomed to Thai curry). I compare it to chile colorado with different prices. Still good but my taste buds were set on something else. The big take home came from the garlic naan. Delicious bread with a great taste and the little bits of char from the bake actually accentuated the taste. Overall, a good meal but my expectations ruined my experience a bit.

After watching too many cooking shows, I was craving Indian food really bad. Here in El Paso there’s not really many options, but based off reviews I came to dine here today. It was AMAZING! So amazing that I forgot to take more photos… anyway. A whole page of vegetarian options!!! The server was helpful and when my boyfriend and I had questions she suggested some plates and once we informed her we didn’t eat meat she gave us even more recommendations. They have a really great option where you basically get a sampler of food, naan, plus drinks and dessert for 33 bucks. I thought it was fair considering how much came with it. We opted for that though and got garlic bread and the vegetable sampler to start. Everything was really amazing in the sampler, the thing that stood out to me most was this spinach that was fried in chickpea batter. Amazing, and not too salty either. After that we decided to share the vegetable Marsala(medium). I only regret that we didn’t get the hot, I love spicy food and although it had a kick to it I realized I could have made it hotter without breaking a sweat. It had all the right seasonings, spice, and potatoes were soft and perfect. We were practically scooping up all the left over sauce with our naan. We were stuffed, and I almost wish we hadn’t been because I wanted to their dessert. I also noticed after I ordered my water that there was a iced water made with rose syrup. It sounded so refreshing, I can’t wait to go back!!! Wonderful service, wonderful food, perfect answer to my cravings.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. It had been built up by my husband so I truthfully thought I would be disappointed, but I wasn’t. Garlic naan and the chicken tikka masala was delicious. My husband had the curry which he enjoyed. It was good, but not as good as mine. :) So happy I tried it. We will go back

I try to come here every time I am in El Paso. It has become one of my favorite places to eat. The lunch buffet is great and at dinner you can get one of the family meals for a buffet like experience. The staff is always coryeous. I have not had a bad experience in almost a dozen visits over the past 3 months.

This is definitely the best Indian food in El Paso. However, I definitely recommend going for the buffet– there are lots of delicious options(even for vegetarians like myself!) It’s kind of over-priced, but worth it as a treat once in a while. Unfortunately, the service is really slow, so you often have to be aggressive if you want the wait staff to bring you more water or bring the check.

So this was my first time ever eating Indian food. My wife’s had it before, likes it, suggested it… Now then, I am a HUGE curry fan. Like at one point in my life I ate it every single day… However, that’s Japanese Curry that I adore so very very much. Specifically, katsu curry… Which I need to mention, is pretty different than curry, India style. Indian style is what we had today. So this is a smaller place off North Mesa passed Cinci street. A good ways passed it actually. Clean, quiet, not much going on, but then again we arrived for lunch at 1400 so yea that explains that. Not sure what the menu was like, as we just had the Buffett. The buffet was small. Half salad and half curry type dishes. They had some naan, which was(imo) the highlight! Loved the naan bread, ate like 50 pieces plus 90 plus like 1 billion… Love naan bread. The rice was decent… And the curry was decent. My wife loves it and others in the place seemed to enjoy it a lot. So my guess is maybe it’s just not exactly what I like the most, but it’s probably actually pretty good curry for El Paso. I’m assuming Indian food is one of those you like it or you don’t… There is probably not many in the middle kinda people like me. I did go back up for a second trip to the buffet… I found what I liked the best was a plate of rice, then putting some orangish looking curry in a bowl, and dipping my naan in it. That in itself was good enough for me to say yea this place is ok… However… I’m not giving up my japanese curry and katsu… So all my homies that said braaahhhhhhh you like da curry den you need go try India kine curry braddah… Well, tried it… And… Japanese curry has stolen my heart in a way that no other curry could ever take its place. But… My wife likes it. So if she wants it again, I’ll take her there… Cuz let’s face it… There’s only ONE person from Japan in this house… And if I wanna keep eating home cooked japanese food, like curry… Gotta keep her happy… Das it mayne

My husband and I went to the Palace today to the buffet, there was not a single thing in there that we didn’t like, everything was really tasty and staff was very nice, restaurant is nice and clean, we had the Indian iced tea which has a hint of cinnamon, refreshing and it’s delicious! We paid $ 35 in total because we also ordered 2 Indian coffees, I think is very reasonable!

I just moved to Las Cruces from NY and I feared I’d never eat Indian again, let alone good Indian. This place is a mirage in a desert of burgers and Mexican food. Great spices, fresh veggies, and sweet and tasty mango shakes. I recommend this palace!
