I’m only giving stars at all because the food is decent. Sends their drivers out with no change. I had to give forty because I did not have the exact cash amount down to the single digit on a thirty dollar tip. My tea, which clearly was cold at some point, was warm at the top and cooler at the bottom, which means the driver kept it sitting out in the sun the entire drive. Don’t order unless you’re prepared to have to be really anal about the money you have prepared, as well if you like your drinks warm.

It’s always good for lunch. Salad bar is superb and i recommend the Reuben sandwich. I’ve yet to see the tea run out(unlike some other unmentioned fast food places). Staff is attentive.

You can compare the restaurant to a Subway or Schlotzky’s restaurant but what makes Jason’s Deli so different is that this restaurant also has a salad bar and ice cream. If you go during the week after 4 pm, kids eat free(2 kids per 1 adult). If I lived closer to the restaurant I would be here more often. This is a good value for the menu options offerred. Also they offer a military discount so be sure to mention that.

So, I’ve been here on a couple of occasions. If it wasn’t for this last time i probably would have rater it 3 stars. The reason behind it? Well the food always seemed bleh on past visits. I don’t know if maybe it was the fact that we were there during lunchtime but besides being very prompt with our orders(it was three of us that ordered) the food was hot and delish. Their salad area was cleaner than usual and their drinks were all operational!(last couple of times 3 or 4 of my usual selections were either not working or lacked fiziness) The girl that brought us our food was all smiles and energetic, she checked up on us twice and as soon as we had cleared our plates the busser came by and picked them up. Food wise, the Chicken Panini was good, but the star of the meal was my broccoli and cheddar soup. I’m a sucker for a good b & c soup and Jason’s Deli has theirs on point! i think i discovered the secret to coming and eating here, YOUGOTTAMAKESUREYOUAREHEREDURINGLUNCHTIME! Their service is fast and their food tastes the best. Kudos to you Jason’s Deli!

Walking into this place, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I merely heard about it on TV(okay…I’m kidding. i heard about it from other Unilocalers. :P). I expected a mere sandwich joint. Little did I know… this is a sandwich joint… fully equipped with a complete salad bar, and a menu that features pastas and various soups. In other words, the selection here is FAR from myopic. If you find yourself visiting this place for the first time like I did today, make sure you pick up a menu by the front door and take a gander prior to ordering. Their cashier setup is that of a fast food pick-up joint. But this place also features table side bussing and serving. So it’s…different from your average sandwich store. Anyways, today I ordered their tuna salad sandwich(customized) with French Onion Soup. The soup was decent enough. Not the best… but not the worst… just decent. Plenty of onions, just the way I like it. In all honesty, it could have been slightly hotter. My guess is they’re playing it safe because they’re scared of patrons complaining(or suing) over burning their own mouths. Even though… ya know… soup should be HOT. But whatever. Their tuna salad was quite delectable, but different(which I’ll get to). First, to their credit, I love the fact that they put egg in their tuna salad(and here I thought *I* was the only one who did that). Now, I should mention their particular tuna salad has a kick to it; it’s slightly spicy. Not like…“breath fire out of your mouth dragon style” spicy. But it most certainly has a kick to it. Odd… as I’ve never tasted tuna salad quite like this. But it definitely wasn’t bad at all. Definitely worth a reorder, should the mood for slightly spicy tuna hit me. One last personal anecdote: their WiFi is shockingly superb! I went during the lunch rush which means plenty of other diners there. But there was virtually no lag on their Internet connection. At all. Again, minor point… I know. But a definite bonus! That’s really all I have to say about the place for now and chances are, this review will get updated the next time I visit, as I plan to try a different sandwich or maybe even one of their pasta dishes.

This a 5 star Deli. I gave it 4 only because I haven’t tried everything on the menu. And since I’ve always done takeout I can’t rate the table service yet. I’m sure my next review with be the full 5 stars. The New York Yankee is an incredibly delicious mountain of Pastrami, Corned beef and Swiss cheese on rye. It is a full meal and more and I think a half sandwich will do nicely next time. My lobster chowder was good but I’ve never had it before so I can’t compare. I think I prefer a good clam chowder though, but that’s a personal preference. My wife never experiments. She is a dyed in the wool roast beef fanatic. She. Said her beefeater was the best deli roast beef sammy she’s ever had. So let it be written, so let it be done. This is our fave deli in the area, and we really have no complaints with others we go to. Fresh food, fresh and complete salad bar and great sandwiches makes me a happy camper.

Very dependable place to come and eat. The service and menu selection is always good. That’s hard to come by in this area and it’s nice to be able to come here and be treated as a customer. Sandwiches, soups, and salads are all good. Make sure to serve yourself some ice cream before heading back to work, or out to finish up the errands.

Fast service, good food, nice location, free ice cream, I thought it was a little over priced but the portions are really big. I recommend it.

This location is awesome. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is always very clean. Paty is awesome! As soon as we walk in she already knows my son’s order.

Good salads and sandwiches. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken noodle soup. The kids especially loved the free ice team.

I loved it! They have a meatless section of the menu:) my husband ordered the New York Yankee sandwich. I saw the waitress coming over with this giant pile of meat and I thought she was bringing a couple of sandwiches to the table next to us! It was my husband’s order! So much meat! I ordered a veggie pasta salad. Once again, so much food, I hardly made a dent in it. Seriously we had to get boxes and my box was full even without the bread. Afterward I had some very strong coffee. And as I was getting it from the dispenser, the waitress told me next time just ask for a cup, no need to order at the register(shhh?) And free ice cream(I wasn’t in an ice cream mood) The food tasted fresh. It wasn’t over seasoned! Tasty tasty tasty! Definitely go!

I have ordered delivery quite a few times. Never been disappointed. I LOVE their garden zucchini pasta, and the hot corned beef sandwich. My kids even eat the food here and they are super picky. Delivery is always fast and food always comes hot! UPDATE they even called me after my latest order to ask me how my food turned out! Yes I am in love! My food was delicious! What great customer service!

It’s really hard to find a great deli in El Paso, but this was is great. It’s a great place to sit down and grab lunch and a quick place to get your order to go when in a hurry. They have awesome healthy options. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 is because of the customer service. I felt rushed, and the cashier seemed liked she was bothered other than that this place is great

I have only been to this place once but think I am informed enough to make a solid review. Always looking for new spots to grab lunch, my girlfriend and I hit this place up. Located in the popular Fountains of Farah’s shopping plaza, it is a nice hot spot for lunch. The décor of the place was nice something that I would expect in Chicago or New York. I was concerned at first due to the long line and only having an hour for lunch but it was surprisingly fast. As a new patron, I was having trouble determining what I wanted because there is no posted menu when you are in line. There is one board of there specialties at the register but once there, there is little time to review. I later determined that there are menus, rather extensive selection but I missed them. I am told that a hostess normally hands them out at the door but not my experience. My girlfriend and I are both into efficiencies, management, and process improvement so when we visit various establishments we find ourselves discussing what we do change about the place. 1. I had a salad. This meant that after leaving the register, I had to stand in another line with a special ticket to receive a salad plate. Who is stealing the salad that makes this a requirement? 2. Obviously post the menu or have someone actually there to hand out the menu. 3. Separate the tables as there is not enough room between yourself and those at the table behind you. On a food note, I had the salad bar and ½ sandwich as it was the Managers Special of the day. I really enjoyed the food! I found it to be really tasty. I am sure that we were both pleased enough to return for another lunch.

Went today and had the chicken salad croissant sandwich which was delicious mixed in with pineapple and sliced almonds and also with swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato. I had a side salad which is more like a huge pile of all your favorites. One thing I tried and regret was the thousand island dressing, it was kinda spicy for some reason, never had a spicy salad dressing and never knew that one to be like that. It really didn’t taste good so my piled high salad didn’t get finished. their broccoli cheddar soup is very creamy and filling but afterwards I felt super bloated. The service there is friendly, its a clean place, fair price, great food. I hope that more and more incorporations of GMO free and organic options will be on their menu.

The joy of dining in a chain restaurant is having the prior knowledge of exactly what you’re getting into before you even step in to the door. Sure, experiences will differ a tad here and there and maybe one specific restaurant in this chain family will stick out to you as the absolute best… but typically you’ll just get exactly what you expect, nothing more, nothing less. Originally I was leaning towards a 4 star rating for this specific Jason’s Deli because it’s new, clean, well staffed, well stocked, and in a prime location so I totally prefer this JD over the Far Eastside location, but you know… things happen. As soon as I walked in the door we were greeted by the JD hostess(who, let’s be real guys, is actually just a greeter), handed menus and sent on our merry way to order. Great service so far. If you’ve ever seen the JD menu then you know it’s a tad large, but options are nice. You can choose sandwiches, wraps, pasta, salads, soups, or combos. So even if you’ve been here a million and one times, it’s still nice to look over the menu, try something you’ve never had before. Right? Or is that just me? I was stuck between two different options and two different options inside those two different options. So like the good customers I am, I didn’t approach the cashier since I was still deciding. I was going back and forth between options and then one of the cashiers said, «If you need any help or have any questions, just let me know.» I didn’t have any questions or need help so I politely smiled and said something along the lines of, «Okay, thanks.» The cashier continued to stare, but no biggie. 30 seconds later she began strumming her fingers against the register… again, no biggie. I do that all the time when I’m bored. And 30 more seconds later I had come to the decision of the Papa Joe combo with the Tomato Basil soup. We step up to the counter and begin to order and then the cashier remarks, «All that time and you’re just getting pasta?» Impatient much??? Guess I should’ve got the hint before. Great service just went to average(maybe even less than) service. Like c’mon man, you’ve been working here less than two months… you can’t already have an attitude. After placing our orders and paying, we continued on to get our drinks and fill up on the little JD cornbread poppers. They do have quite a few drink options here and while normally I would’ve settled on tea, I tried some blueberry, fruity, electrolyte filled drink that I particularly liked and ended up drinking that instead. If you get nothing else from this review, please get this: THESALADBARISNOTFREE! However, the cornbread and crackers on the end are complimentary(read the sign if you don’t believe me). The cornbread is quite good, sweet and corny and not too heavy… the way it should be. And it’s great in the soups. Our food arrived and the Papa Joe was exactly what I was expecting. A turkey sandwich with pesto and tomatoes… good, but nothing fantastical. I am a huge fan of the bread though. Comparing JD to Olive Garden, I’d definitely say I prefer JD’s Alfredo. We ate, we talked. Great environment with lots of giant windows to let in a good amount of light and really high ceilings. Loved the local photography too. Is it weird that I’d describe this place as dark and bright all at the same time? Don’t forget that the soft serve ice cream is FREE as well, if you’re into that kind of thing. Just as I was considering leaving, the fire alarm went off. None of the employees seemed fazed so I thought it could be one of two things;(1) Nothing was on fire, this happens regularly or(2) Something was on fire, but no one went over this in their training so everyone just assumed it was a test. Not really sure which it was, what I do know is the alarm was extremely loud so we made our way out. A Fountains ninja did appear to save the day though. And then he disappeared. Ninjas… they’re out there, man.
