Let me start by saying. I should have checked John Ferguson Moving and Storage/Johns Upper Valley Moving on BBB Better Business Bureau website before hiring them. John Ferguson Moving and Storage did a tremendous amount of physical damage to my personal property during my move from El Paso, TX to San Antonio, TX. The damage estimates totaled $ 13,117 to be exact. The damages were calculated based on estimates from professional furniture repair companies. By John Ferguson’s own admission, and the damaged condition of my furniture upon arrival, JFMS company cut corners and did not handle my belongings in the professional manner which one should expect from a professional moving company. My furniture items were not well protected and the moving truck was way too small for the job in addition to its poor operational condition. All of my belongings in the truck were painfully compressed. John Ferguson and employees are no experts on professionally handling your valuables. They are EXPERTS on DESTROYING them! This was indisputably pure gross negligence. Additionally, the act of JFMS employees of either hiding or «staging» the broken chairs, broken desks, to name a few, was malicious and dishonest behavior. Thanks to John Ferguson that was by FAR one of the MOST stressful days of my life, even though he claims to «take the stress out of your move». I am extremely distressed as these high-end quality items represent a lifetime of incredible hard work and sacrifice. A horrible and devastating experience for my family and myself indeed! I give John Ferguson Moving and Storage/Johns Upper valley Moving a ZERO in «customer satisfaction» as well as a ZERO in «quality care with your valuables».

YOUTOOCANHAVEDAMAGEDFURNITURE. Give ol’ John a call. He will send some guys over that have no clue how to load a truck. They wont wrap anything(even though you request that) and they will just jam it all in there while you are busy trying to finish last minute stuff while NOT supervising your«professional» movers! Then when you arrive at your destination and your«actual professional movers» start unloading, they can snigger at you for hiring these douchebags in the first place as they pull damaged piece after damaged piece off your truck! So fun! Then you can contact ol’ John to let him know about your stuff and basically get told to f*&^ off! Yay! Photo proof on their page. Go check it out!

(Written as if I were one of the movers from John Ferguson) Not as enthused to move me, as I was to move me… its cool bro. Truck broke down several times and I had to give them about 9 water bottles to get it going… no its cool– no need to be repaid, whatever. Movers took a good amount of breaks, but hey… ya I get it, you’re tired and moving is your job, no need to break a sweat or move a lot in a quick amount of time… It’s all good man. They were supposed to come equipped with tools to disassemble our bed set, seeing how it is that my tools were PACKED… they kinda forgot to do that, but no need to stress… I just went through 6 or 7 packed boxes and I was able to find my tools and take apart my bed myself because I had NOTHING else to do. Unfortunately, they were a little lackadaisical and thats good enough… for them. Um, I probably wouldn’t go through them again… ya. (Back to me) Seriously. Not. Impressed.

These guys are pros. I needed a ton of heavy antique furniture moved from a third floor apartment. No elevator, just a windy staircase. No problem for the crew. No scratches or dents. They were very professional and showed up right on time. They were very efficient. John’s is the best moving company I have dealt with in El Paso.
