Ordered 9 dollar queso dip to go with my meal. No nothing to eat with it. No chips no tortillas nothing. Food is cold. Left sitting on the counter. Thanks for nothing. Called and spoke with naro. Very professional and took care of my complaints. This is why they are getting three stars. Simply cause he showed he cared.

This place is right by where I live. I had passed it a few times and my husband and I finally decided to stop in last week. We were served chips and salsa immediately and the server was quick to take our order. The salsa was spicy but great. We both ordered the red cheese enchiladas and were both very pleased. There was a ton of cheese and the sauce was good. The beans and rice were also very good. Our server was this small young guy and he was great! We ordered the sopapillas for dessert and they were also great. We love it so much we went again a few days ago. This will be one of our usual spots from now on.

Best salsa I have ever tried and the food is delicious. They have a buffet on the weekend that everyone has to try at least once. You won’t be disappointed.

Average food and Horrible service! We waited two hours for our food to come out. The waiter never brought sopapillas and all the manager could say is I’m sorry maam, I’m sorry maam. The least she could have done is offered to give us our sopapillas to go or even a measly 10% discount. Never going to that place again. Save yourself the disappointment, there are sooooo many better places to eat Mexican food. Lucy’s, Kiki’s, L&J’s to name a few.

Reservations had been made yet they didn’t have a table ready for us. They gave us a table under someone else’s name. We had one waitress who was responsible for our group of 11 and two other large parties by herself. She had to take orders, bring the drinks and food herself and make sure everyone had what they needed. This proved to be an impossible task! The four people at the end of the table got their drinks refilled the rest didn’t. She would run by the table and ask if anyone needed anything and before anyone could respond she would be gone. One person had a tamale the was obviously heated in a microwave to the point that you could’t cut it let alone eat it! When the meal was over and she was removing plates she ask that person how her meal had been. She told her the tamale was inedible. The waitress’s response was«You should have told me». Had she been around more and stayed to listen she would have been informed at the start of the meal! She never offered to take the meal off the bill or offered something as a curtesy. The food was passable at best! We will never be back and don’t recommend this place to anyone!

Wow! Why is this my 1st time here? The breakfast buffet is amazing. 3 different types of eggs, waffles, pancakes, crepes, menudu, chili colorado, chili verde, unlimited bacon. Etc. would take me 3 different trips to try everything

I love real Chili Rellenos. I ordered the Cheese Relleno plate, and was very happy with the results. I believe the Rellenos were Hatch Green Chili — tasted like Sandia variety. Hot, but not too hot. Service was very good. Atmosphere was good. Prices are very low. What more can one ask for in this short life on Earth?

I had some friends who recommended this place highly. I can’t say i didn’t like it, but I just didn’t love it. When we first sat at our booth, I was a little reluctant because there was trash and dropped food under the table. For whatever reason, it wasn’t cleaned up. We ordered the chile con queso as an appetizer and really enjoyed it. Not being from El Paso, we assumed it would be cheese with small cut up chiles embedded in it. Something simple to dip our tortilla chips in –nope. It’s cheese with long pieces of green chile. So the tortillas chips were barely sturdy enough to scoop up the chiles. The dish did come with a short stack of warm tortillas to eat the dish with. I ordered steak tacos and was not very impressed. The steak was over seasoned. Just too salty for my taste. Our server; however, was very attentive. Not too intrusive, but made sure we were taken care of. Can’t say it was one of my favorites, but won’t rule out not coming back.

Normally I would give this palace a 5 star but today portions were poor, ordered chicken fajitas and got one thinly cooked chicken breast that dose not even come with peppers or onions very disappointed in today’s meal especially if I’m paying 10+dollars for it

Okay to begin with, I am reviewing this based on the breakfast since that is the only times I have gone here. Now I have been here several times for the breakfast buffet because my wife enjoys it. For me, it is a bit bland. I have had the green chicken chilecillas and the chicarrones which are my favorite. Very flavorful. The red chilecillas tasted like the chile is from powder. The menudo is bland, they need to put more spices into it and sprain the grease more. The barbacoa was very dry. I usually like it a little moist from the grease, not too much though. The scrambled eggs with chorizo are way too underseasoned. They don’t put enough chorizo that you can taste it. On this last visit, they have an omelet bar with a cook making them. I didn’t try it though. I did have the crepes which they cut in half, stuff with strawberries and drizzle caramel on, very very good. The flan is ehhh, I think it is over cooked and the churros they have at the buffet get stale really quick if they make them fresh. All in all, I don’t mind going there once and a blue moon, but my wife makes it more often than I would like.

Living on the Eastside away from all my favorite mexican restaurants in central is hard!!! So usually this place satisfies my cravings. My boyfriend and I come here all the time but we usually just order the tortilla soup with avocado and the beef flautas. Chile rellenos, shredded beef tacos and loaded nachos are also good, I’m not a fan of their enchiladas though. The service is can be good depending on who you get. Some days when we go the waiters are rude, or will only come back once to give you your check. Better service is needed, but all in all their flautas have me coming back.

Only reason why I keep coming back is because the food is actually good, buuut their service can be horrible at times and that makes me NOT want to come back sad to say. The other day we went and of course I’m hesitant to go because I don’t feel like dealing with horrible service but we go anyways because my husband loves the burgers and he just had to have one. sure enough we were greeted poorly. Then we got seated but we weren’t greeted by our waiter for 15 mins! We had to ask a random waiter where’s are waiter? Management is just plain bad that’s for sure but their chicken fajita burrito is pretty tasty. they could change the tortilla because it does not taste fresh or homemade and if it is they need to do something where its texture is easier to chew and not stale.

Used to be one of my favorite places but my last visit has me not wanting to go back. My family and I(5 total) all ordered enchiladas and it looked like they dropped a can of tomato sauce all over our plate. As friendly as our waiter was it took way too long to get a refill. I had to ask the bus boy for a refill and that seemed to be an inconvenience. A fork was on the floor and instead of picking it up this waitress just kicked it out of the way and continued on her way. Overall, my family and I were not happy and will not be going back.

This place is great if you’re looking for delicious Mexican food. I ordered the Green Chicken Enchiladas plate and it was like a New Year’s Eve party going on in my tastebuds! I did have to reject the freshly made Horchata made with approximately 5 pounds of sugar! Way too sweet! Overall the service was great, the staff is friendly, and I enjoyed my lunch.

Great border Mexican food. Nice staff. Fun, festive atmosphere. They also have a bar. For vegetarians: Guacamole tacos are a great choice. They are not on the menu(they used to be) but they make them still. It’s a crispy taco shell with guacamole, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and shredded asadero cheese. Also the cheese enchiladas with Spanish sauce are good. Only reason for 4 starts is the service is kind of slow but it’s not always this way. This is definitely one of our favorite Mexican food places in El paso.

Went in with family on our last trip to El Paso. We started with the nachos which were just ok. I had the caldillo, which I must say was pretty dang delicious! My other half had the popular combination which was also really good. The service was also great. I’ll definitely be going back!

OK. So I’m a Nashvillian and don’t get the opportunity to have real Mexican food often, so I’m reviewing this place with my background which lacks authentic Mexican food options at home. However, I LOVE real Mexican food and try to eat it as often as I can, whether it’s homemade or at some few and far between restaurants in town. But I digress, I was a bit hesitant to eat at this place with the low Unilocal star rating, but I have to say, I was impressed with my experience. Because I’m from out of state you ask? Well, maybe. But I have high standards for Mexican food. The real stuff anyway. First…can we talk about how amazing the salsa is here? I love love love the heat, the consistency, everything! I definitely judge a Mexican restaurant by their salsa, and this one didn’t disappoint! Only complaint… we needed bigger dishes for the salsa please! Our table ran through a lot of it over the course of our meal. I am always tempted to try the mole if a menu offers it. However, I have been very let down by the poor attempts of it in Nashville. I’d go so far to call it inedible. So with my lessons learned, I asked for a sample of the mole before I ordered the dish. It was perfect. Mole is a very complex and rich sauce that is served in Mexican cuisine, and it’s SO good if done right and SO bad if done incorrectly. This one got it right. It was a perfect flavor and accompanied my chicken perfectly. MMMM. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food as well, though the fajitas are definitely different than the Americanized version, just an FYI. Only complaint, service was just OK and that seems to be a trend from the reviews. Our server wasn’t horrible, but we had to ask for more things a few times. Also the cinnamon sugar and plain sopapillas with honey were awesome! And on the house! :)
