Motel 6

I was really happy with how big the room was.
I was surprised how nice everything was. I stayed at a different Motel 6 in the same city and it wasn’t as nice.

Awesome price. Got a room in less than 5min. The whole entire room is completely updated. I had (awesome quality) wood laminate flooring! Super clean and decently quiet.

When our car broke down we stopped for the night. The guy working the counter got me in quick and made sure we had a room in our budget. The room was quiet and clean.

Traveling from AZ passing through to San Antonio. I called about 4 hour before arriving to check for rates and rooms avable. I asked for double bed non smoking. Oh yes! We have plenty avbl. Great! I would like to reserve a room. Oh well we have plenty no need to. Come and I will have one waiting she says! BFS! 3am and we are tired as shit! Traveling from Cali to AZ and here. We get here and the man said all we have is double smoking. WTF! I have two little children. Sorry I can offer you some deteriorating spray if it’s really that bad. Then to top it off they charge me for a smoking room price and we don’t smoke nor did we ask for a smoking room! I had no choice but to take it 17 hours in a car and a 2 yr old and 5 yr old. Then the man said you will have a microwave and a refrigerator when I get in. Great!!! At least my kids can have milk! BFS again! We get into the room and well. What do you know! Not a microwave and refrigerator in sight. Lol called the office and he said oh we are remodeling and not all the rooms have it. Then why tell I will have one! If you need a place to crash for cheap and don’t mind your clothes and bags smelling like an ashtray and why bother showering cause you will just smell like smoke! There Ya go!

One of the better Motel 6’s in my book. Very clean but getting a little older. The staff is very courteous and on top of things. It does have big truck parking out back with restaurants close by. Parking lot is very secure with lots of cameras. My typical spot I stay when I’m in El Paso

I’ve seen the seediest and I’ve seen the nicest. This one is neither. You can tell they really try by the little things they do prepping the rooms. Wash cloths folded into little fans with soap in the middle, for instance. It was clean. No bedbugs or anything particualrly scary. But, it’s not that great, still has all the old stuff, needs an upgrade.
It’s better than horrible, not better than good. Since I was travelling with two bulldogs, it worked.
