This place is fantastic, and dog friendly! The food is amazing, and even tho the beer selection isn’t that vast, it’s pretty tasty. Highly recommended!

This brewery and restaurant has good parking and a pretty nice dining room and patio, but their serving sizes are small bordering on tiny and the prices are really not in line with their mini-serving sizes. The beer is pretty good although also served in small-ish glasses so even if that’s all you’re it’s not the most satisfying place to go. We’ve gone a couple of times so far and both times the service has been a bit spazzy. We may be helped by 4 different people in the course of 15 minutes but we don’t necessarily get all the items that we’ve asked for(salt, silverware, etc.). I’m definitely willing to chalk these issues to growing pains and if they were to nudge their prices down or their serving sizes up they’d probably be one of the best places to hang out in the area, but right now they’re not quite nailing it. It’s not a bad place to stop by after work, but it’s not great if you want a meal and some beer.

Ode is fairly new, located on North Mesa a bit hidden. There beer selection is small but good. I really love their seasonal menu it’s filled with unique and creative meals. I recommend this this for anyone looking to try something new in El Paso.

We were there for my husband’s birthday celebration and we had a good time, you can actually have a conversation, music isn’t too loud. The service was good and it was nice that they brewed their own beer there. Overall a nice place, but I’m giving them 4 stars because I thought that the food was a little bit pricey.

I had the chips and fries and they were very tasty! Hubby had pork tacos but they were very tasty but a little greasy for his taste! I enjoyed everything! Mac and cheese was really good! We really don’t try new restaurants but we really liked the atmosphere and beer of course!

Really digging this Ode Brewing! I love the modern and open feel to the place. The beers I’ve tried have been pretty good. I especially like the Scottish ale. I’ve enjoyed most of the food I’ve tried(see pics) but my one complaint the last time I went was that the fries and mac and cheese I ordered were overly salty in my opinion. And this is saying something because this is coming from someone who is in fact a certified salt addict. If it’s too salty for someone like me then you know something is wrong! So Ode, you’re doing great but please tone down the salt already!

You won’t find a more clever craft beer menu better executed in El Paso. I’ve tried and recommend the Crispy Chicken Sandwich(unlike any I’ve ever tried), the Burger(best in ELP), the Chunky Pig Bacon Caramel Corn, Fancy Grilled Cheese(unreal) and Salmon Trout Nachos. As word spreads about Ode’, there will come a time when it’ll be hard to get a table.

The two out of three beers we tried were good. The Korean short ribs had a great flavor. But for $ 12 I kind of expect a side and not so many bones without any meat on them on the bottom of the bowl. Not worth it. We also had fish & chips for $ 14. It was filling but a lot of batter. I don’t love that dish so it also wasn’t worth it. The server was nice but obviously bored. We have been traveling so we were a little annoyed. Eh

A group of 6 went last night for New Year’s eve dinner and count down. We all enjoyed the experience very much. The beer selection was great and the food was good. Service was excellent. Price was steep but I believe that was due to the holiday. Would recommend to people.

Nice local bistro-pub. Attentive and friendly wait-staff. The IPA, Porter and Stout are all worthwhile. Wedges potatoes are tasty, but the serving could be a bit more generous. Crème Broiler(made with their Smelter Stout) was very good. We were there to watch a bowl game and they were very accomodating — turning off the background music and turning on the TV audio.

The beer is very good, the food was fantastic and different, and I loved the view of the Franklin mountains from inside!!! Tried the heuco wit, the shrimp sopita, trout nachos, and crème brûlée, and all was delicious. Had an awesome time with my friends tonight!

There aren’t many places in El Paso that brew their own alcoholic beverages. With the exception of BJ’s(a chain restaurant), Ode(a local one) is helping the people of El Paso develop a palette for craft beer. As we came in through the door, we were greeted, taken to a table, and served water immediately without being asked. Some places should take note about this method because who doesn’t like a serving of water, even if a beer is what you actually come in for?! Anyway, the restaurant’s architecture is of a modern feel, but the dishes were served on a retro style platter. Speaking of which, we ordered three items and one beverage item and they were as follows: 1) Deviled Eggs, 2) Crispy Chicken Sandwich, 3) Beef Wellington Benedict, &4) a flight of beer. To begin, the deviled eggs with the crispy duck skin was a great way to start off the meal; even if you aren’t a fan of duck, it isn’t overwhelming and only complements the dish. Secondly, the crispy chicken sandwich is one item to go back for. It hints at everything a southerner enjoys on their plate(coleslaw, chicken, honey butter, biscuit), the only thing missing was the sweet tea. The third item is what I usually base restaurants off of and it was spectacular. The combination of poached egg, braised beef, hollandaise, mushrooms, and truffle oil was a burst of flavor! Lastly, the flight of beer… Actually no, I’m not going to explain the flight of beer, I don’t want to spoil the experience for you, the reader. Go experience it! Overall, I highly recommend Ode Brewing to anyone who lives here and anyone who is visiting! Ciao!

El Paso is finally on the craft brew map with their very own microbrewery. Not only that, but the beers are fantastic! As is the food! It was so good we actually ended up visiting Ode two days in a row. The first time was to strictly sample their beer because I was unaware they were a restaurant as well. After looking over the menu the first day and being told about the Fresa Wit, we decided to come back with reinforcements(meaning a large group of family). Unfortunately, the Fresa Wit was not ready after all. But we will enjoyed the beer and food. The beer was great, my favorite was the Porch Pounder and the Semilla IPA. I also really enjoyed all the homegrown beer names. There were some beer recipes that were a little off for the style, but nothing that was too offensive and I am sure the first few batches brewed need to have kinks worked out. On to the food. Once I learned that this place was owned by the same owner as Tabla, the menu made a lot of sense. It was experimental, with a lot of twists on traditional pub eats. I had the Duck Reuben. The rest of the table had the Fried Chicken, Deviled Eggs, Potato Wedges, Mac & Cheese, BLT, and Pork Tacos. Everyone was silent once the food came out. Some of the highlights were the cheddar biscuit from the Fried Chicken which fell off the bone, the fantastically cheesy mac, and the interested Beat Chips that accompanied most of the sandwiches. I will say that the Potato Wedges were average at best, but I have a hard time understanding the reasoning behind duck fat fried anything. I will say, this layout does not lend itself to large groups unless you’re willing to sit outside on the picnic tables. Although, I was incredibly impressed with the layout and décor inside and out. It felt like I was walking into a small brewery in a different city, especially given the nightclubs that used to occupy the space before Ode came along.

Stopped here for a quick bite after the EP Symphony. A decent amount of tables were occupied which was a good sign. We were sweetly greeted at the door upon entering. I ordered the Beets & Blue Cheese salad & my husband ordered the Fish & Chips. I did ask for the dressing to be on the side, which it was not. Their was Bibb lettuce, and frisée salad with beets and crumbled blue cheese & house ranch dressing. It was extremely tasty. Vinegar & tarter sauce came with the fish & chips. The food was served in a stainless bowl & the fish in a white enamel oblong pan. The food was very tasty. The menu is very diverse & not your usual fare which is exciting. We’d definitely return. Teresa, our waitress was very customer focused.

I’ve now been several times to Ode and I am officially a fan. The beer has improved considerably and I was able to enjoy the entire flight(for only a $ 1 since it was Veterans Day so points for the owner being awesome). But really not only is the beer pretty good their food(owner also owns tabla). I’ve now had their nachos, their shrimp tacos, and their duck Reuben. All were good but the Duck Reuben was fantastic. Great place to go hang out with friends.

First off, mad props to Ode Brewing for being the first local brewery in El Paso! EP loves beer and we’re all about the craft beer so of course we need some breweries in town. Ode has a very open, outdoorsy vibe. Do you ever really walk in or are you always outside? This is still to be determined. The entrance is different. Instead of coming in right through the front, you’ll see a rope with a sign that reads«Entrance» dangling from it that will direct you to the side of Ode and through the doors. There’s a register/host table as soon as you walk in where you can purchase OB growlers… awesome! I didn’t really take a long look at the inside since it was nice out and we decided to sit on the patio, but I remember thinking what a smart change from the previous restaurant/bar that was in this exact small location. It’s open, light, tall ceilings, modern, industrial, brewery-y, just a good looking joint. The patio is also nice. Simple. There’s a bar towards the back, but my eyes were drawn to the skyline that touched the mountains. It’s weird because normally the close proximity to Mesa St. would be an eye sore, but there’s something really nice about being able to look out onto the city and see the mountains. And even when you turn around, there may be a medical center across the street, I still felt surrounded by the mountains. The patio itself is also small, but it can host quite a few large groups with their sturdy and numerous wood tables and benches. The also had corn hole out(I’m not sure if that’s an every day thing or something left behind from an event, but I like) so my boyfriend and I played a couple of games. A lot of fun(even if I completely sucked) and a great way to pass the time while you’re waiting for your food. What I like the most about the patio is it really cultivates and environment to talk… even with complete strangers at tables next to you. This is still a fairly new concept in El Paso(at least for the bar scene) so that really stood out to me. We went a week or so after their opening so there are kinks and I get that. And I also really understand that since we didn’t have an breweries in town previously, it’s probably really hard for OB to get a good idea of how high/low demand will be. I get it, but at the same time… you’re a brewery and you only serve five beers and yet you’re out of two of them. So I get why the reviews right now are really ranging. For me, it’s not really a big issue because I expect any place that makes anything fresh to run out of certain drinks/food once in a while. I wasn’t really feeling like a beer, I was actually more intrigued by their food. Absolutely LOVE! This isn’t exactly the kind of place I would come to eat dinner… it’s more of the kind of place you go for a light lunch with multiple dishes that you might be sharing with a friend or a good place for the beer and ambiance, that just so happens to have some food to tie you over for a while. Portions are small and prices are high, if you catch my drift. But what has me sold on the food is the fact that everything. EVERYTHING. on the menu is unique. They have pig ears on the menu for crying out loud! I went with the Korean Style Short Ribs, my boyfriend went with the Benny, and we split a Mac & Cheese. There are no appetizers, no sides, just options. But giving the menu a full inspection, almost everything seemed shareable minus a few things like the burger and brat. The Ribs were yummy with a spicy buttery flavor and I stole a few bites of the Benny which was amazing! The biscuit it all laid on was so flaky and all I kept thinking is, they had to use phyllo dough because this is entirely to buttery and flaky and delicious. I also noticed they really like to use black beans in their dishes, I like it. The mac and cheese was pretty good, but worth noting that it was set in a cheese soup more so than a sauce. I liked it, but my boyfriend wasn’t a fan. A three cheese mac with the usual — cheddar, a local flavor that everyone likes — asadero, and one of my favorites — gruyère. Love this mix of cheeses and the flavor was definitely unique. I thoroughly impressed with Ode. The environment is amazing, food is great, views are beautiful, and the concept is refreshing!

Let me say this first: Ode is a three star establishment right now. Let me explain. Ode is still in its infancy and it should be noted that they’re still getting there sh! t together so it’s understandable. I visited for a second time today with a friend and I finally had a chance to really take in the environment. The space is, in my opinion, constructed greatly. The indoor seating is clean and neat, the open garage door feel really gives it a flow, and the patio is immaculate. The food is interesting and its unique. You won’t get duck fat in many places and, thanks to Action Bronson’s love for duck fat, I’m eager to try it. Today was a light day. I tried the pumpkin beer and it was decent. It actually tasted like pumpkin so that’s always a plus. My friend got the Pils and that wasn’t too good. It felt flat and didn’t have much life to it. Their IPA was decent as well. I’m giving them four stars for what I see them becoming. Once the kinks are worked out, Ode is going to be a must visit location. They need to make sure all brews are available and they should break up the food list a bit categorically. Their vision with food has major upside. I will continue to visit to see how it improves. Also, that fourth star comes with the service. Leigh Ann was our server and she was awesome. She was attentive, helpful, suggestive, and equipped with a smile that could end a war. Needless to say, service was above and beyond.

I am so happy that El Paso has finally a local brewery. Ode Brewery Co will offer 10 craft brews from which 5 will permanent craft beer and 5 seasonal beers. The beers are extremely delicious. I purchased a beer flight which included 5 different beers for only $ 8dlls. This is an amazing price and the beer flavor was amazing. The bar is medium size and it feels very cozy. The bar is per friendly. It is in general a super welcoming palace. In addition to amazing beer the bar also offers food. We had the nachos, the hamburger and the Crème brûlée. It was all amazing. All in all, Ode Brewery Co is an amazing place to visit after work, on Friday or Saturday nights. Try it and support El Paso local craft beer

I know that there’s a handful of microbreweries in the region, especially between Canutillo and Las Cruces, but who wants to go all the way over there?! That’s why I was excited when I first heard about Ode, it’s nice to see El Paso catching on with the microbrew scene. Ode Brewing Co uses a plethora of grains to brew a handful of different styles of beer, and offers numerous dishes to pair with your beverage. I haven’t sampled all beers yet, but I enjoyed their Sin Semilla IPA, it’s light and flavorful, as all righteous IPAs should be. I also had the Belgian Wit, which is pretty solid. They let you sample the beers before you order, so points to that. I sampled the pilsner and it’s not too shabby, if you’re into pilsners, which I’m not. I read ‘pickles made in house’ and knew that I had to try the Ode Burger, which has fried pancetta instead of bacon and is quite yummy. Locally made pickles were darn good too btw. I was a little hesitant when my waitress told me that it was served with side salad and not fries, but, can you keep a secret? I really liked the salad, and I’m not a salad person, I think it’s a Caesar. I love, Love, LOVE the day atmosphere here, it’s spacious, well lit, and there’s lots of tables, plus the music volume is well controlled l, makes it a great lunch or after work spot. The patio area also has lots of tables. There are no TVs, which I guess it’s good for socializing, whatever that may be. I didn’t know what to expect from Ode, but it’s a really cool joint(can I say ‘joint’? I feel weird saying it, I’m just going to call it place), I’m looking forward to trying more of both the beers and the food!
