Pop’s Pretzels

Wow, these pretzels are the best I’ve had. It seems that every pretzel stand has their own signature flavor. Like for example, Aunty Anne’s is more on the sweeter and breadier side, which makes their pretzels pretty different and unique than the classic. Then there’s Wetzel’s Pretzels, which is not quite classic, but getting there, but then way different because they got that pepperoni pizza one and you know that’s a twist! Both are good in their own way and I like them when I crave them.
But Pop’s Pretzels was an unexpected diamond in the rough. Their pretzels were plump, fresh, soft, chewy, and classic to the taste. It brought back the nostalgia of my little 6 year old self enjoying one of the best pretzels I have ever had with that same taste and slathered with warm cream cheese. Pop’s pretzels sent my taste buds back into to time and I was in bliss. I don’t know why I don’t see warm cream cheese anymore, but if Pop’s Pretzels had it, I would have made a trip to Cielo every single day being in El Paso. My gosh! Though with the pretzel alone, I was already a satisfied customer :).

Pretzels are a very picky subject for me. When the craving is hitting bad honestly any pretzel will do, but, when you have that particular itch for what i like to call a «true» pretzel, then short of going all the way to Disneyland or Disney World to satisfy that craving, i venture unto the wild and busy Cielo Vista Mall to hit up the best Pretzel in El Paso.
Bavarian style pretzels are hard to do, you either end up with too tough of an exterior or an undercooked inside, fortunately for you this is something you don’t have to worry about here at Pop’s. Every time i’ve gone the pretzels smell and taste fresh. They don’t sandbag their product or make too many, so whenever you step in it feels like they made the pretzels just for you.
I’m a fan of a plain pretzel with salt. No dips, no sweets, just a good ol pretzel, but if you are the kind that enjoys the latter then this too can be your pretzel spot at the mall. Either bites or full size pretzels you will be able to enjoy a little piece of heaven for under 5 bucks. (dip and all!)

These pretzels are fresh and super tasty! they melt in your mouth and leave you feeling satisfied! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very energizing!

I’ve never been a huge pretzel fan but I went into POP’S pretzel on the request of my daughter. I ordered 10 pretzel bites for her and ate most of them so I had to go back to get her more. This is the best pretzel that I have tasted including ANY chain that I have visited. Great customer service and great preztels, you can’t go wrong!
