Great service and reasonably priced. The tortas are delicious and they use real avocados. The torta bread is always fresh. My family and I go across the city for the service and the quality of their food. We live on the Westside of El Paso. We always order bistecitos torts, lime aid, and shrimp cocktail.

Goooood tortas. My coworker recommended me this place saying«it’s the most authentic place to get tortas» so I gave it a try with other coworkers. When we got there around 12:15 on a week day, the place was paaacked. But it’s so much bigger than it looks from outside. Both cashiers were open but there were at least 5 people in each line. I ordered colitas de Pavo and horchata. Although it was packed, I don’t think they even took 10 minutes to bring our food. I really like it especially when we only get 1 hr of lunch break. The food was great! At first when I saw it, I didn’t think I could finish the whole sandwich; it’s huge! But I finished it before anybody else and I was scared of myself lol well it was that good. I’m already excited to go back and try other kinds of tortas or their tacos!

I really enjoyed this place. The service was ok(hence only 4 stars), but the food was excellent. The Tortas are on point, prepared perfectly. I also really enjoyed the Banana Agua Fresca. One of the best in town! This place is great for a quick lunch!

This place is hit or miss. The cashier guy is usually rude or distracted. One time I was there I ordered a couple of tortas to go. When we got home there was hardly any meat in them. Basically tasted like a lettuce sandwich. About a month later I decided to give it another try. I informed the guy at the counter about the lack of meat on our last visit. He said«Well you should of brought it back that same day, we can’t do anything about it now». I was just informing him, I wasn’t trying to get my money back. Instead of apologizing he acted like he didn’t need our business. Previous times there when you’re ordering he’s not paying attention and have to repeat the order. The food is usually good. You just have to get passed the crowd and the rude cashier.

I love the tortas from here! They’re crazy cheap but soooo good! I didn’t realize I was a fan of avocado until this place. The juices are amazing as well. I would have given this five stars but there was times where the guy at the counter gave my boyfriend a mean glare because I paid for our meals. I really didn’t see a problem in what I was doing but it was evident on his face that there was one. Didn’t really appreciate that.

Best tortas in town and best price. Their lemonade is also the best. You can tell that he uses quality food by the way it taste. The full restaurant also tells you that it’s great.

Had this for lunch today and it didn’t disappoint. Freshly blended mango juice(you can blend with milk, water or OJ) was amazing and the chicken quesadilla filling and tasty. All for around $ 5! Can’t beat it… the line was out the door and for a good reason :) The Cashier was super friendly and another gentleman was going along the line taking orders to speed it along. Boisterous fun place I can’t way to go back to!

After reading a review on the other Rainbow Fountain by Mabel S.( ) I made a mental note [and a bookmark] to try a Rainbow Fountain ASAP. This place is packed from wall to wall, business is gooooooood! Every single employee I interacted with was ridiculously happy to be there. For real, no joke. Even the guy that was busing tables was singing to the Christmas music playing in the background… he wasn’t singing the right words, but he sure as hell was belting it out happily. Someone give him the employee of the month award stat! There was some witty banter shared between the cashier and me, quick glances at the menu, more banter, a couple of recommendations, and then I ordered the Cubana Torta(the Cuban sandwich for the gringo in you). The only deviation I saw from a regular Cuban was the addition of chorizo which is what initially drew me to the sandwich. While the flavors of chorizo could’ve been more prominent, it was still a pretty delish torta. The bread was perfectly toasted too. For a hole-in-the-wall, these tortas are pretty damn good. Homely food. Extremely inviting staff and environment. Oh and just on a side note, that really doesn’t effect RF’s rating: There’s this cute metal leave-a-penny-take-a-penny luggage. If you don’t have money, there’s seriously enough money in it to buy you a torta.

There are three Rainbow Fountains in the El Paso area. After passing one on Alameda one day, we finally stopped at this location which is closest to us. They had a huge selection of tortas to choose from, I wish I had counted the number of options. A torta clasico and a torta cubana without mayo were chosen from the giant list, and a licuado made with guava and milk. They had two salsas to choose from, and sliced, pickled jalapeños too. The red salsa was a spicy chile de arbol sauce, and the green was a spicy, smooth guacamole; both salsas were delicious and found there way onto our tortas. The clasico was a super thin milanesa with ham, and the cubana had shredded pork, ham, and chorizo. Both were given a treatment of toasted telera bread, customary mashed avocado, lettuce, tomato and mayo unless ordered otherwise. They were both delicious, and fresh. The bread was nice and soft; the salsas only made the sandwiches better. This place is a must for anyone who is in the area and wants a great torta in a clean and professional sandwich shop.
