I have grown up seeing and attending this mass but have now moved away to another Texas city and attend the cathedral here. The choir playing mariachi –type music is a fond memory of mine. As I begin the process for the sacrament of marriage, I wonder how receptive this church will be to out-of-towners who want a traditional mass at this main El Paso diocese church? Update: At first my review was 4 stars and now It been difficult to get great or caring correspondence from this church in the last few months through email and phone. I sure wish they would return calls and treat a patron with the respect and the love taught in this house of God — I’m not sure whether to continue here or pick from the myriad of churches in El Paso which attentive staff. Sigh– I wish this wasn’t the case.

Coming from the northeast I love the old church feel inside, I personally don’t like these modern style catholic churches that feel more like a conference room then a worship space. This church brings that good old school awe inspiring feel to it, it feels catholic. The church has both English and Spanish liturgies. Range around an hour long for mass. Music is good. They have somebody who knows how to play the Organ. I have seen three different priests offer mass and each with a unique style. If you are looking for a typical Catholic Worship place this is the church for you. Nothing crazy or radical and you need not try to guess what is going to happen next. They follow the rite. That is why I like it.
