Worst Service ever, It took 30 minutes for a Bean Burrito and Chicken Nachos. It was my first trip there in many years, and it will likely take a 30 Pack of Bud light and a bottle of Cuervo to ever get me back. One Star because the toilet was not overflowing

Went here at about 11:30 at night, had some Serious MUNCHIES. I got the quesadillas with chicken and a drink. I paid about $ 8 and boy was it worth it. It came in this big container and took me about 20 min to finish it. Taco bell can suck it for all I care. Image be com I ng here from now on. The battle of late night munchies has been won!!! :) they have an assortment of menu items that I have to try. This place is neck in neck now for best have the munchies place to eat with Jack in the box another favorite of mine.

Went to get a meal after a long drive from San Antonio and the lady who took orders at the front sneezed without covering her mouth and didn’t greet us at all. in fact, no one said a word to us the whole 10 minutes we were there. anyway, the lady who sneezed went to bathroom and my mom went in shortly after. a few seconds later the sneeze lady came out from bathroom and my mom peeked out and said«SHEDIDNOTWASHHERHANDS!» So, I watched what the lady did(who still did not greet us). she put on gloves then started cleaning the grills in the back where I could see. then she took one off and started cleaning the grill top. then the lady who was cooking food went to the cash register and pressed a bunch of buttons and went back to cooking food with her hands. After not being spoken to this whole time, the sneeze lady not washing her hands after using the bathroom, and the lady who used her hands on food AND dirty money and computer screen; we left! Went to bed hungry cause everything over here closed by 10. but this place was not worth it! beware! I’d give it a Zero star if I could

Are here a few days ago with the kids. Paid $ 30 for fajitas. Lettuce looked old and some brown. The meat seemed like artificial meat of some sort like rubbery. That was strange. Went to get sweet tea and it wasn’t sweet at all. It had a bitter taste as well. This is not what I expected as I’ve been here before and it was fine. It wasn’t even packed at the time so I don’t know what the problem was.

My girlfriend and I just got ripped off by the girl who was operating the cash register named Michelle. We went through the drive thru, handed her a $ 20 and 20 cents and our bill was $ 8.18. She handed me back the receipt that had 2 cents wrapped in it and closed the door immediately before I could tell her she still owed is $ 12. The manager said she counted the drawer and l the money was correct even though it was after the fact that she already typed it in she just never handed us our cash so of course the money in the drawer is correct. Anyways the Michelle girl that works there ripped us off for $ 12 and the manager said there is nothing she can do… really bad customer service and extremely shady!!!

Food tastes good but no carnitas? Burrito much smaller than in Northern California! Music is loud teenage pop… I wish that I could access Unilocal while driving so I could avoid Mexican fast food I won’t be back. I prefer comida muy auténtico!

This place is consistently good. Of course, being El Paso, there are a lot of Tex-Mex places to go, some of them better than Taco Cabana, and some not as good. The 12-pack breakfast taco pack is a lifesaver when you have a hungry crowd and need something *quickly*. The salsa bar is great.

Bathrooms are disgusting. Broken latch, graffiti, urine everywhere. Food was good, of course. It is Taco Cabana, first good Tex Mex stop on I-10 eastbound.

This is like a better taco bell no as good as Taco Tote but cheaper than Taco Tote. The salad bar is all right. The place is open 24⁄7 which is a plus.

DAMN the ½ brisket skillet is delicious. It’s good enough to feed two people, too! It usually comes with bbq sauce but they ran out… still good though. The rice and beans were pretty bland but I think they complemented the flavorful brisket. In Cali, I don’t see a lot of thick flour tortillas or brisket tacos so it was a nice surprise finding this off the beaten path. By the way, don’t get the beef tacos. They’re seasoned ground beef that you can make better with the packaged stuff from the store.

All the taco cabanas in el paso are usually pretty dirty as far as the dining area but thats probably because of the extremely dense population. The horchata is awesome! And they have pretty ok items as far as being a vegetarian goes… You can build your own burrito the way you like it but this place can get pricey comsidering the portions. They have a little Condiment bar with different types of salsas Which is kinda cute… I guess.

Dear Unilocal Journal, After spending the night with friends dancing and drinking, the next obvious place to go to is a late night eatery, to help fuel the body and soak up the libations! The place was clean, packed with customers, and the food was delicious! Their Horchata was a cool smooth spiced drink that quelled the hot salsa that i ladled onto my fajita bowl complete with a taco bowl shell, I was in a state of bliss. Not to mention the customers were very entertaining to watch as they sobered up from their own shenanigans :) Overall: great food, interesting characters, and fast service. Great late night place to get your grub on after dancing and drinking!

Cheap fast and GOOD! Comparison to Taco Bell is like comparing a really good burger joint to the old«Original Hamburger Stand» chain in Colorado in the 1980’s and 1990’s — they were a cheap nasty knock off of a Mc Donalds. In short — good stuff and a favorite fast food place.

For a tex-mex place Taco Cabana offers the typical offerings and is ‘somewhat recommended’ by the hotel staff. Had the steak fajitas, which includes a bit of rice, beans(not refried), lettuce, guacamole, and tomato. Steak okay; seasoned and tender but somewhat generic tasting. Unlike most tex-mex places, Taco Cabana does not douse the plate with cheese. Also had a chicken taco which came out too wet-the chicken is in some kind of sauce/stew, which although is tasty, is a bit salty and makes for a messy taco. Tortillas freshly made but somewhat on the thick side. Margaritas tasty(strawberry is better) but thin on booze-I expected the drink to go straight to my head but unfortunately it did not. Five or six fresh salsas available. Reasonable prices and open 24⁄7.

This is my favorite Taco Cabana! It’s super clean and friendly. I love the fajita cabana bowl-topped with guac, lettuce, tomatoes, and simply delicious! Many dishes to choose from and very VERY fresh! You won’t be disappointed!
