Whataburger

I walked in to a cloud of smoke, they burned a batch of fries. I was greeted with laughter, and placed my order. While I waited, the employees seemed busy multi-​tasking work & chit-​chat. Seemed fine until they started talking about how they conduct themselves to particular people (stating they like giving attitude). Totally unprofessional to be carrying-​on in the dining area like that.
Waiting for my food I saw a bullet hole in the window and resin on the glass in the shape of holiday decorations. It shows they don’t pay attention to detail and are not in a safe neighborhood.
I received my food and was offered ketchup. I thought it was odd she would offer a condiment but not bring it.
The burger was heavy on the mustard but was tasty. I’m not a fan of the spicy ketchup, but the fries were great nonetheless.
When I went to refill my drink I was surprised to see the employees standing at the drink fountain filling their own drinks; more lack of professionalism.
Considering there are a bunch of Whataburger restaurants within a 5-​mile radius, I’ll opt to go to a different one.

Overall terrible experience tonight.
I really really REALLY wanted to be able to compose a great review here.
The employees seemed friendly.
I came through the drive thru and ordered 2 bacon cheese Whataburgers with no onion, tomato, and mustard. With mayo instead.
I got home and checked our food. They had mustard on them. The receipt was correct. It said sub mayo. The meat was really dry and cold.
We also ordered fries and onion rings and unfortunately they were really cold as well.
I called to complain about it and they offered to remake the food. So we got in the car and drove down there.
I told them they weren’t supposed to have mustard and the manager, Christian, said he would take care of it. I trusted him. He seemed like a very good and thorough manager.
We get our hot and fresh food and drive home.
We got home and took our food out and I check it… It is exactly how it was made the first time except hot.
There was mustard on my burger again and no Mayo.

Not going to this Whataburger again and I will be doing the survey on the receipt as well.
I wanted this to be a good review because the manager assured us he would fix it and I trusted that.

This Whataburger redefines the phrase fast food to kinda fast or even slow food. In a hurry? Don’t do the drive thru. Especially in the morning. Hit up the Micky D’s down the street for speed. It really is too bad that they cannot get their act together, and the slowness seems to be a chronic problem at this Whataburger. Are you listening district manager dude? Maybe you can actually order something some morning and see if it takes a while.

No excuse for this place being nasty inside when employees are sitting around, joking in the eating area.

I really enjoyed the roasted hatch pepper on top of my burger at this place. The service was decent too. It’s a fast food restaurant that looks to have been around for awhile.

Kinda sad we don’t have these in Cali. The burgers are decent as are the fries. My favorite part was the ketchup packets. ‘Til we meet again in Texas, Whataburger.

It’s Whataburger. What you would expect just faster.
