Best pizza I’ve had in a really long time. The girl behind the the counter was super busy and I respected how patience she was with all the demanding customers. We got the vegetarian pizza and loved it.

I was absolutely amazed at how great this pizza was, and I am very picky about pizza coming from an Italian family that makes our own. We got there early and it wasn’t open yet, the guy was real nice and friendly about it. So we left and got our Yosemite passes and came back. The place was crowed, we almost didn’t go since we were starving, glad we did. The line went fast, as well as the service. I got three cheese and garlic and my fiancée got sausage and black olive, both were amazing! Perfect amount of garlic if you are a garlic lover, the sausage was really tasty, and the cheese, sauce and crust were perfect. Just the perfect ratio of toppings to cheese and sauce. We ordered 2 mediums, way too much, but still tasted great the next day. Our bill was around $ 40 and I had a wine, but we had three meals out of it. Don’t let the line fool you, there is a reason there is a line!

One of the best pizza I’ve ever had: crispy but not burned. The melted cheese is especially yummy! We had the seafood combo the night we spent in the lodge. After leaving the park we went back here just to gab another one before heading home!

This was the best pizza I have ever had. We totally blown away by the quality and the flavor of this pizza. We started with wings which were so so amazing and fresh. You order your drink at the bar if you want coke or a cocktail doesn’t matter. You have a few pizza selections to choose from. We ordered the bbq pizza with pesto sauce and the crust was unreal so was everything else. Travis the bartender and server was amazing. Were definitely coming here again next year!!!

Really good pizza, salad bar and staff. Nothing overly awesome and a bit pricey but I enjoyed my pizza after I took the 100 pineapple chucks off I didn’t realize came on my pizza LOL I’d eat here again in a minute.

Good pizza, served quickly. Cute patio, and an even better one at the back near the river that is quiet, and romantic. Steve took our order tonight and really provided great customer service, as well as good advice on what to order«River Special» and we did the other half with Feta and tomatoes. Good prices, good service.

They make a pretty good pizza, and their crispy wings(7 in a order) are good. Staff is OK. Place is kinda small with only 7 tables. Service is fast. With only two restaurant options to eat at, you either have a nice dinner or go basic and have pizza. Tried their veggie pizza, lots of cheese and large portion veggies, the crust was excellent. Will return to try their meat pizzas next time I am in the area.

My husband said it was the best pizza ever, I thought it was okay. We got large veggie pizzas two days in a row. The wings are good too, as long as you get them with ranch, the ranch was really great.

Solid predictable pizza. I’m from chicago, so its not fair for me to judge, but this is predictable, solid and will meet expectations,(but let’s be honest, it’s not the part of a yosemite visit you’ll write home about)/

Just like most of the places around and in Yosemite, Parkside serves American food. But unlike the places around here, the food is GOOD. It’s surprisingly gourmet pizza for a «hotel» which has another restaurant on the same premises with a notoriously awful reputation for quality. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with no nuts(evidently that’s a specialty of theirs, but I ain’t a fan of that) and spicy chicken wings on the side. The pizza was freshly made, thick, and oozing with cheese. Interestingly they finely dice and mince their ham so that it’s ingrained within the melted cheese – love it. Even the wings were delicious, and come with bbq sauce usually, and then ranch, on request. Coming from the city, I thought the prices were more than reasonable for a place outside Yose. On average, prices range from $ 10-$ 15 per pizza, Small to Large.(They also do custom pizzas for around $ 10 as base price. It gets more expensive the more toppings you add after though.) I got the small which had 4 slices. I’m a small girl, so that portion was more than enough for me.(I had hiked earlier that day, so that pizza was definitely gonna disappear.) If you’re starving get the Medium for a full stomach, and a Large to share. Look, it’s not Pizza Hut, or Little Caesar’s in prices, but the taste and quality far surpass them. If you’re looking for other great pizza nearby, try Pizza Factory or Take and Bake Pizza in Mariposa. PS: It’s usually a dinner place and opens at 5 pm. Don’t come in for lunch, like I unwittingly did.

Pizza was better than what I expected. Lots of cheese, toppings, and the crust was nice a crispy. If your in town, or even staying in Yosemite, make the drive here, its worth it. The pizza at Curry Village has gone downhill, and can’t compare.

It is snowy and dark near Yosemite, and you want to grab some dinner. The grocery stores are closed, the Ahwahnee dining room has a ridiculous long wait without reservations… what do you do? There are 2 places owned by the same people within a 30-min drive. One is the River Restaurant, which is right next to this pizza lounge and you pretty much can count them as one place. The other one is a bar down Route 140, and they serve alcohol and bar food. After consulting with someone who has been to the proper River Restaurant, we decided not to dine there but instead headed to its pizza lounge. I wasn’t expecting too much of it but… It actually was pretty decent! Needless to say, I was surprised. They have interesting ingredients like cashews, and they did take care to cook the pizza properly so the ingredients don’t burn. The tables are pretty grimey, they use a lot of plastic ware(right next to a national park!), and there wasn’t much service — but I shouldn’t expect since I *am* in the middle of nowhere.

During the winter the Pizza space is closed and Pizza’s are ordered in the lounge next to the main dining room. The gent behind the bar was friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken wings(light fry) which come with two sauces. They were hot and crisp and had very good flavor. The BBQ dipping sauce also had good flavor and wasn’t overly sweet or savory — generally a good topper for the wings. We had a 50⁄50 medium pizze with half sausage and half just cheese. The pizza came out very quickly and was well made — definitely not a freezer pizza. The whole family was happy with the meal and and the small friendly environment. I’ll eat at either the pizza place or the lounge again next time we come around.

My wife & I stopped off here after a full day of hiking Vernal Falls & Yosemite Falls. To say we were hungry was probably an understatement, we were famished. We knew we were out in the middle of nowhere so we were not expecting much in fact we were expecting some pretty awful pizza. Yea we were defiantly wrong. We ordered a basic cheese pizza & when it arrived it was clear it was cooked properly & was very fresh. I’ll break down the review in a simple format for easy reading. Staff: Excellent the young man taking our order was attentive & answered our basic questions. Food: The pizza was excellent with a nice crust & a chewy dough. The sauce was flavorful & it had just the proper amount of cheese on it & was cooked perfectly. If your looking for a decent pizza in the boonies this is a great place. Price: Kind of expensive but look where you’re at. A medium pizza with 8 slices cost us $ 17.00.

Not extraordinary, and not horrible either. For an inexpensive dinner without having to eat in the park or somewhere overpriced for what it is… pizza it here. The place had a line out the door. Due to the large amount of people we decided to get our eats to go. The pizza dough isn’t tossed into the air… it’s refrigerator or freezer kind as my husband so pointed out. It’s basic, but it’s not bad.

Best Pizza in Town! Ok, even if it wasn’t the only pizza in town I would still go here. Try the Cowboy and/or the River, by far the best they have. And fast, much faster than some of the big city places even when they are packed.

I just had a three night stay at a motel about five miles down the road from Parkside, but I visited here twice — both take out since the restaurant seating was packed. The pizza is very good — definitely better than most chains — and fairly reasonably priced. The service was friendly. There’s a nice outside seating area and about 10 tables inside, but note that it fills quickly after 7 pm. If you’re staying at the Cedar Lodge or Yosemite View Inn, this is a great option for you.

If you’re staying in El Portal and you don’t want to spend a ton on dinner or if you’re not going to eat inside the park then this is a good option. We had a cheese and mushroom pizza, which was good but not fantastic. My wife really liked it… I thought it was good enough for being out in the sticks and probably compared to other options. What I will warn you is a pitcher of beer is expensive so go with a glass or stick to water! ;) It cost us more than a medium pizza… I loved the fact we could sit outside on the patio. The turnaround was pretty quick so we got our pizza within 10 – 15 min… the people working there were really nice and did a good job keeping the tables clean, too.

The pizza here is pretty good, but watch out for the river special. Had that last night and I was not pleased. Toppings included chicken, mushrooms, onion, tomato, mozzarella, garlic, artichoke, and no sauce~ I found this concoction was on the bland side of taste and something that sounded interesting, turned out not to be I don’t recommend it. Try something else!
