I’m so excited Unilocal helped me discover this little hidden gem in El Segundo. After seeing other great reviews I decided to give it a try. Unilocal doesn’t lie! Bernadette was quick to return my call for an appointment and got me in same day. I had a wonderfully relaxing facial and my skin feels amazing. I already made my next appointment. I love supporting local business and this one’s a keeper!

I have been a client of Aesthetics By Bernadette for over 10 years. I NO LONGER have:
— adult acne
— dark spots
— overly oily skin
— regular break outs
— dull looking skin
— to wear foundation
Going without foundation is now an option that I didn’t have prior to having regular facials with Aesthetics By Bernadette.
A few days ago I got an Age-​Defying facial. I must say that not only does my skin look and feel amazing, but my pores are noticeably much smaller. In fact, I don’t even noticed my pores.
My skin is very important to me and my face is the first thing that my business clients and friends see and it must be as close to flawless as possible.
I had to write this review and share how happy I am with the services that Aesthetics By Bernadette provides. I would recommend Bernadette to anyone looking to improve the appearance and quality of their skin.

Simply amazing !!! It’s is so relaxing and Bernadette is very professional. She explains step by step what she’s going to do and what she’s going to apply on your face. This is my first time here and for sure will not be the last.

I have been going to Bernadette for a couple of years now. I always come away feeling like I really received a great service. She takes care to explain and show you what is going on. I had the microdermabrasion, and had not had that service before. Now my skin does not have that dull look anymore. I would definitely recommend Aesthetics By Bernadette to anyone who asks. My daughters are regular customers of hers and my youngest one gets the Teen Package. They love it and come more often than I do.

Let me start off by saying that I never get facials. They are just not something I really thought about until this point in my life. So in trying to find a good place to go, I turned to Unilocal and saw all the amazing things people had to say about Bernadette. I made an appointment for the «Renewal Package» which includes a 60 minute massage followed by a European Facial.
The massage was really great, Bossie was very gentle but was able to kneed out a lot of my knots. She found knots in places I didn’t even know were possible (my thumbs and near my rib cage?!) She was very helpful in giving me stretching advice as well.
Then came my facial with Bernadette. I told her I was new to facials and that I really didn’t take care of my skin because I just never knew how. She was very thorough and honest and explained everything she was doing. The facial overall was very relaxing, with the exception of the extractions, which I knew were gonna suck since I never get them done. But even those were not bad because she is so good at what she does. She never tried to sell me anything and actually told me NOT to buy things because she knew my skin wouldn’t tolerate it well. She gave me advice for better makeup products that won’t clog my pores so much, and she even gave me a free sample to take home a try out. The icing on the already awesome cake? I was having an issue with a bump I developed next to my nose piercing and she took extra time to focus on it to see if she could heal it. That goes above and beyond what I could have hoped for in this experience.
Beyond a great experience. I will definitely be back to see both Bossie and Bernadette.

I called Bernadette last minute and was very fortunate she was able to squeeze me in. Bernadette is an extremely knowledgable aesthetician and customized my facial to address skin that has been uncooperative as of late. The result was remarkably healthier looking skin. The best part was waking up this morning to still glowing skin. I highly recommend Bernadette and I certainly plan to see her more often!

I went to get a European facial that I bought from Groupon. It was amazing. So relaxing. I will definitely be back soon.

Don’t get waxed at the nail salon!!! You’re sacrificing quality for «convenience». Melted wax and delicate tissues require skill not speed. For a competitive price, Bernadette gives the best waxing. No ripping. She cares about the small details, like applying sunscreen before you leave because she is an experienced aesthetician. Facial services are part of routine self-​care. You’re worth the best. Go to Bernadette.

Love Love Bernadette. I’ve been a customer for about 3 years now. She performed my first ever bikini wax. I was terrified, and she made me feel extremely comfortabl., The wax she used (hard wax) was not as painful as I had prepared myself for. Hard wax adheres to the hair and not the skin, resulting in less pain. The european facial is such a treat as well, I always walk out with a glowing, clean face.

I have been coming here for over 5 years and this is by far the best facial experience I have had in So.Cal. From the soothing music to the paraffin hand treatment, which is included with your treatments :), the mood is always set. I consistently recommend Bernadette to friends and family and no one has regretted it. lol Plus she always is up to date with the newest procedures and equipment to keep us all young.
