Ok, I came here after lunch with my sister to look for a top for an event later on that evening. Mind you, she comes here at least twice a week to get stuff. Another note, when I go shopping I’m not in a prom dress or have a full face of makeup on. We enter the store and are greeted with a hi. Mind you this woman by i think her name was Maxine(she was young). In walks a woman with a baby 15 seconds later and was greeted with a «hello, how are you? Can I help you find anything?» hello!!! What was wrong with us? Are we not worth saying hello to or ask us if we need help? And then, I ask her to find me a pair of sandals in which she acted like I asked her to drive to Canada to make the sandals herself. I don’t know if the trend is to come to work looking like you were at a club last night but I guess here it is. Working in booty shorts with a bra out and Rick James botines is not cool. We got stuff to try on. I decided to place mine on hold. She took my info and didn’t even call me. What was the point of that? Anyways, I will not be back here. I don’t like going places I’m not welcome in. Maybe if they fire her I will be back. She has no clue of customer service and common courtesy. you’re supposed to make them feel comfortable and want to spend their money not have you eyeing them down.

I don’t like shopping for clothes… at all! But when it comes to needing an outfit for any occasion, D’Arte is the place to go! They have the most unique pieces of clothing for the most reasonable prices. The staff is unheard of – always ready to help while being as honest as possible so that you don’t walk away with anything you won’t be happy with. I have never bought a piece of clothing from D’Arte that I haven’t received compliments on – and isn’t that the whole point of shopping!

I frequently drag my husband in this little clothing shop when we’re on Main Street eating at O Shun or Rinaldi’s(as we were this afternoon), and I almost always walk out with at least an item or two. Today it was two dresses, a sweater, a top/dress, a jacket, two tank tops and a necklace. And I was just going in for a quick look! D’Arte Connection carries a good mix of cute, current looks, much of which is very reasonably priced, as well as a smaller selection of high-end denim lines. In addition to the clothing, they also have a nice accessory selection. I love supporting small local businesses, and part of what’s great about this place is its very friendly local vibe. Unlike a lot of stores where customer service is nonexistent and they barely acknowledge you, much less offer any assistance, D’Arte Connection totally gets it. My husband and I have chatted with the owner on a couple occasions, and she always recognizes us when we come in. Hmmm, maybe I need to cut back on the shopping? In addition to this location, D’Arte Connection apparently also has stores in Downey and Huntington Park.
