Kumon has been a wonderful tool for my daughter as she struggles through Common Core at school. Having her in Kumon assures me that she is «getting it». I feel as though she is not getting a full understanding of the basics when presented via Common Core. In second grade alone, they have jumped around from the simplest addition & subtraction all the way to multiplication and division??? A week here, a week there. It just doesn’t seem like a solid foundation.
Kumon’s system is all about strong fundamentals! We will have our daughter in Kumon throughout her schooling, so long as Common Core remains present in the district & state.
I highly recommend Claire and this center!

My little one daydreamed through 2nd grade math and is suffering now. Kumon gives her 10 minutes more homework daily, to emphasis the basics, before moving on to the harder stuff. She is happy and growing in her independence. I’m happier too.
