There are a lot of programs that try to teach kids to play golf and tennis. TGA is the best of the bunch!
Not only did they learn all the shots, they also learned rules & etiquette, character lessons, scoring and the history of the game.
No mention TGA came to our school which is super convenient. In the summer we could go to camp and try always attend the local events to keep the kids occupied year round.
The coaches are great and the office staff was super helpful in recommending the next steps on the path to becoming a golf an tennis player!

No customer service at all. We registered our son for the Van Nuys Play Day this Nov 16th, and we just wanted to ask a question but we didn’t get any response, neither by phone nor email provided in the registration confirmation.

Terrible customer service. Had to cancel but I never received my refund. And they stop responding to emails or phone calls. Will never use them again.

So my twins just started kindergarten last month and we received a flyer for this after-​school golfing program and my kids said they wanted to go (they like miniature golf so i figured why not!). They have had two lessons and thoroughly enjoyed both lessons. After each lesson their instructor, Matt, took the time to tell me how they were doing and and let me know that they were listening and following along (I was a little worried after dropping them off that they would be little animals and bored silly but no so). Reasonably priced at $ 140 per kid for lessons from mid September to the first week of December (with a couple Wednesdays off). I will continue to sign up my kids with TGA as long as they want!

All-​around, a great organization to be a part of. Management actually puts forth the time and energy to make sure REAL golf education is placed as a priority through fun and safe camps and classes. Coaches are all knowledgeable and helpful, lessons are easy.. . couldn’t be better.
Only criticism is that they should maybe expand their programs to adults. Waaay better than paying crazy private lesson rates with a driving range or golf course pro (who are normally old men without patience, or young arrogant jocks past their prime – just my opinion).
Other than that, nothing around quite like TGA.
