These AL BBQ places kill me. The tables are plastic. The chairs are plastic. They only have shredded pork butt. Service is good and they always have sweet tea, but I was hoping for some chicken or ribs. I ended up getting a baked potato. I can’t wait to go back to Cali…

I’ve been here a couple times. The pork sandwich is not bad. My first visit it was better. This go around the bun didn’t seem to be fresh and broke apart. Not a huge complaint to have to eat my sandwich with a fork. The staff is friendly.
My biggest issue is this. This is a barbecue place. I asked for extra barbecue sauce because they didn’t have it on the table like most other barbecue restaurants. I was given a very small plastic sauce cup and charged $ 0.79 for it. I mean really… It’s not much money but IMHO way over priced for such a small amount of extra sauce.
Will I go again? Sure not like there are many other places to choose from to eat while visiting Elba, AL. Next time I will just get ketchup and hopefully they don’t charge for that.

I’ve had the ribs, hamburger steak, and bbq sandwich. All were good. Service is good as well.
