I had a prenatal massage here, best idea I ever had. The girl who did my massage was Asha. She was very nice and polite. Loved it.

If you’re just looking for a great massage without the resort spa experience(and price tag) this is the place to go. I’ve been here three times with my wife for couple massages and each time has been a really good experience. It just doesn’t have the fancy resort feel to it, but for my money I’m looking for a massage that’s relaxing, therapeutic and the focus of me being there. Unlike the other«spa» experiences that I’ve had where you get a boring and basic massage that goes along with a fancier setting and price tag.

Wendy is awesome at what she does! I love to get pampered by her. She truly cares about her clients. If you want a great pedi or mani, go to Wendy!

This is Kauai’s best kept secret. We live in Ca. Bay Area. My husband and I really needed to relax. We had both been to either the back doc or the chiropractor the week before our massages. Needless to say we were both hurting. We were on the island for a week. My husband found a 30% off coupon for massage. This first time we went to TIT we had Charlene and Theresa. I went in with numbness and tingling in my arms and hands. I came out with no symptoms at all. My husband went In with lower back pain, he came out feeling a lot better but felt like he needed more. So, we went back a few days later. This time he was almost pain free. He’s had chronic back pain for years. We have been going to a local massage place for years and never have we felt that good. I think the combo of lomi lomi and traditional massage techniques and the love and care that these ladies put into their work is the trick to the whole mind, body, spirit healing. My mission is to find someone in the Bay Area who do this same work. In the mean time, We can’t wait to go back. Mahalo and Aloha to Tropics Island Therapy. I’m really sorry, I can’t remember the ladies name that massaged me the second time. She was really good too. When I figure it out or, Charlene if you read this can you add her name for me. Great big Thank You!

My sister & I wanted a bit of a spa day, but we didn’t want to pay the hefty prices of some of the fancier places, so we were happy to find Tropics Island Therapy… My sister had the lomi-lomi style & I had the deep tissue, & we were both pleased with the hour-long sessions, & I actually think it was better than a massage I’ve had at a high-end hotel. Kind of located in a random spot in my opinion – one in a line of shops that include a gift shop, a chocolate shop, & places for water activities/rentals, but at least easy to find. One note: if you have a coupon(you can find them in those ad books that they have for free in front of stores or at the airport), you need to let them know ahead of time so they can fit it into the schedule.

What a lovely place! It was pouring rain on this day and I called Tropics to see if I could get in that day, thankfully they were able to fit me in. If you are looking for ultra fancy and plush go to the Hyat and pay twice as much for less time. I had a 70 minute lomi lomi for $ 80 and it was fabulous. The masseuse, Charlene was very quiet and made it a very relaxing environment for me. Some masseuse’s insist on chatting the whole time and I prefer to have silence so I can unwind and let myslef truly enjoy the experience. Charlene asked if I was comfortable and checked in to make sure her massage was just right. I really appreciated this. Afterwards I fell asleep on the bed and she let me just stay there for about 10 minutes. I highly recommend this spa if you are visiting Kauai, located about 20 min. west of poipu beach. Very friendly service!
