Aldi

This Aldi is excellent! The people that work there are always over the top friendly and helpful, and you can see each and every time you walk in the effort they set forth to making a decent customer experience. If you need something, they will drop everything and get it (even if they’re your cashier), if they seem to be out of something– they’ll find it. I get very impressed with how hard each one of those employees works.
Enough about the workers, let’s discuss the store in general:
Aldi in general has also vastly improved its quality over the last few years (I know what you’re thinking– Aldi and quality in the same sentence???) The produce has improved vastly, and the meat is always fresh and good quality. I go there for all my food shopping except for super quality name brand food items– cause let’s not lie to ourselves, sometimes spending an extra penny on something is worth it, and pop– its the only thing Jewel has them beat on cost wise.
Great store to go to. Im not sure why you’d spend more on name brand.

This store is great. I wish I would’ve started shopping here a decade ago. I definitely would shop here before ever going back to Jewel. Aldi’s prices are good and the quality of the food is on par with Trader Joe’s. Furthermore I find the cart system and bagging ideal and like that it makes us shoppers a little more responsible.

I might actually shop here on a regular basis if they had more than 1 cashier working at a time and lines that were not 20 people deep. ridiculous!
I’d rather pay a couple cents more at Elgin Fruit Market across the street, and save my sanity.

I realize these are tough times, but not Aldi tough. Weird brands, 50% lean beef, no bags. I just can’t go there for any reason
