Amish by Burress

We came here over a month ago to look at baby cribs, and ended up falling in love with the dining furniture.
We have always been into second hand and gently used furniture, partly because so much furniture nowadays is throwaway — cheap particle board, poorly put together in China, and you can get quality furniture second hand if you look hard enough. But after years of mismatched tables and chairs, we have finally had enough and want some quality dining furniture that we are proud to have people sit in.
Amish furniture is one of the only ways we have found to get quality, real wood furniture in this country. But boy is it expensive! We were a bit sad to think we might have to give up on getting the furniture we know would last a lifetime.
Patti at Burress worked with us tirelessly for weeks, exchanging nearly (if not over) 100 emails until we could reach an agreement on the furniture price that worked for both of us.
I am really impressed with the customer service, and I look forward to updating my review when the furniture we are ordering today arrives :)
