EXCEPTIONAL! Super cute little storefront with a HUGE selection of anything invites related (went there to check out potential wedding invites).
They seriously have pretty much any style you can imagine and are incredibly open about customizations and adding touches you wouldn’t otherwise be able to do (they have a foil stamper in house, so you can add additional foil stamping to anything).
SUPER sweet owners as well! Very friendly, knowledgable, and constantly coming up with creative ideas.
Unfortunately went with another boutique because I was looking for a specific invite, but I still absolutely recommend this boutique!
Give them a shot! Love this place!

Thanks to Unilocal and earlier reviews I decided to check out Andersen’s for our wedding invitations. A lot of printing is done over the internet these days but I felt it was important to go through the process of seeing samples first hand and also support local business.
Andersen’s has a very large selection. I mean, lots and lots of books. My fiancée and I designed our own monogram and they worked with us with the overall design of the invitations, wording and several proofs.
We are so pleased how well the invitations turned out! I even got compliments on the quality of the envelopes from the calligrapher.
We will definitely be going back to Andersen’s to finish the programs and for some engraving!

Andersen’s has by far, the largest selection of wedding invitations anywhere in a four county area. Very helpful friendly and respectful. They may have the smallest storefront in town but they pack in everything they possibly can to give you the best selection possible.\
They have survived in dowtown Elgin for at least 30 years and still going strong.

Don’t let their small shop or website fool you. They have a wider selection of wedding invitations than Papyrus or any other stationer we saw. (Excepting Crane and Company, who had breathtaking invitations, but way out of our price range.)
The owners were incredibly helpful in helping us select the perfect invitation, wording, etc. We unfortunately had to cancel and they graciously refunded all of our money. I expected them to keep a portion for their time, but they insisted.
I wish we could have used them (ended up going a different route entirely), and would definitely go back if we plan another event. They also do trophy /​corporate goodies engraving. They have cake knives and servers, champagne flutes, ring boxes, garters, and other weddingish things as well.
