Eco Cleaning MSDL

Unfortunately I am joining Unilocal for the purpose of writing this review.
Usually I am a very laid back person and very easy going but the service my wife and I had using Eco Cleaning was so poor I felt compelled to let others know of our frustration.
We had recently purchase a new home in Glen Ellyn, Eco Clean was not our first choice, however due to scheduling conflicts around the busy Labor Day holiday we were forced to use our forth choice.
That said, the service was scheduled and the staff did show up resonably on time (about 15 minutes late). No worries on the delay. The service was three young ladies of eastern european decent — poor english but the effort was there.
As they began cleaning our vacant (yet to be move into) house my wife had asked for a few items to have special attention. After all we had purchased their services for a full house cleaning. Which we were told was up/​down COMPLETE house cleaning — we were quoted it could take up to 10 hours — therefore we felt we were getting the whole package. But despite our hopes, my wife had to ask the cleaners to clean windows, light fixtures, the oven, the fridge, etc. Her requests were often met with gruffs and broken english.
Well as we can go on and on — we won’t — we don’t want this review to seem petty. Although the big ideas of disappointment were — the oven/​range was left filthy — not even wiped down — the interior of the oven was not cleaned, windows were finally cleaned but as retribution for our request, the shutters in our front room were damaged, the range hood was not cleaned and we did have some cleaning material — a bottle of 409 and windex and a bucket go missing after their appointment.
They went slightly over their estimated time but that was not the reason for our poor rating. It was primarily the poor service we received. Very disappointing and a missed opportunity for this company to receive some word of mouth.
Unfortunately we were also forced to email Angie’s List with our disappointing review in hopes that others are not left with the same disappointment my wife and I were.
