Sherman Advocate Outpatient Center

I am not impressed… While the staff is pleasant for me their methods are less than idea. I realize that medical facilities like this have to do their best with what walks in the door but when they stumble you still pay both monetarily and physically.
I went here for an issue and they didn’t do a very thorough job of analyzing that issue. Now, is this an insurance thing where they only get paid so much so you have x time with the patient???
Or is it something the medical facility does. I have no idea. All I know is that I wasn’t really made «better»
I was given meds and they didn’t share any side effects cautions so I could vet the pros and cons myself … I left feeling about the same as I walked in but now throwing up from the meds they gave me.
I was given an anti nausea med in pill form which I also promptly threw up… That pill was $ 70
There was also no follow up as you often get when going to a facility like this.
If you pay and feel better well that’s the trade, but if you feel worse you wonder why you went there.

All staff is great! From registration, to the nurses and doctors. I wish they were PCPs, because I’d go to them all the time if I could.
