Thursday morning doctor’s appointment nearby. Pulled in to a crowded parking lot, had to wait a minute for someone to back out. Vehicular attrition goes fast here.
Inside a crew of 4 were taking care of no less than 30 people in this Cumberland Farms! Most phenomenal example of teamwork I’ve seen in years and the first example I’ve seen in a convenience store. How they take care of so many, so fast, and so politely is beyond me, but they manage to pull it off. They even heated up my sandwiches for me. Passing through Eliot Maine and need a quick snack? Stop in there and see for yourself.
Coffees, cappuccinos, lattes in any flavor you’d want.

What a fantastic Cumbie’s!
This new 24 hours Cumberland Farms opened on busy Rt 236 in Eliot.
This new store model has a huge ready to go food offering such as subs, hot dogs, pizza, fried chicken, sandwiches, salads, hot coffee, fountain drinks, snack foods and more.
There is even a Maine State liquor store inside.
A huge amount of gas pumps out front offered cheap gas for the area ($ 2.01 today).
The restroom was also clean and well maintained.
Very impressive!
