Unfortunately this pizza joint is no longer. Closed suddenly and they are missed. Owner of the building is doing some much needed repairs. Hopefully something great for our neighborhood will move in.

This place is the best in the seacoast in my opinion. I’ve tried every pizza shop in Portsmouth and kittery and these guys have the best pie around. Definitely one of the best kept secrets in eliot.

I stopped by here for pizza takeout recently while driving through Eliot. Riverside Pizza Company is a casual neighborhood pizzeria, which offers homestyle thin crust pizza(10″ &16″), specialty pizzas, calzones, salads, pasta dinners, subs, appetizers, and desserts(Nutella pizza, cookies, brownies, baklava and a few flavors of Shaker Pond Ice Cream). Specials are offered here. The prices here are fair, most subs $ 6.99-$ 8.99, pizzas(10″) $ 5.99-$ 13.99/(16″) $ 9.99-$ 19.99, dinners $ 9.99-$ 11.99. Beer & wine served here. The place is situated inside an old house with wooden floors, which is order at the counter and there is self serve table seating and a kids Lego table near the flatscreen TV. It took me a few moments to decide which pizza I wanted to order. I was eyeing the Clams Casino, Roman Deluxe and Moussaka pizzas, but I ended up ordering a simple 16″ Meatball Pizza($ 11.79 plus tax). The pizza was ready in about 20 minutes as promised. I enjoyed some pizza slices fresh out of the oven and later on as well. The pizza was topped with plenty of thick tomato sauce, melted browned cheese, and grounded up meatballs(taste in each bite) spread evenly throughout the pie. The thin crust had a crunchy texture, which was not greasy. Overall, I enjoyed this homestyle pie! CLOSED on Mondays
