Another Great Colorado Adventure! Da Coffee Coop Outstanding refreshing iced sugar-free chocolate mocha coffee! Also the breakfast burrito was top notch! This quaint little spot is right before the Safeway in Elizabeth, Colorado. What a great place to get that early morning pick me up, drive through on the go! Carin is also a lovely and friendly gal that serves you with a smile! I’ll make this stop again when I am back in this area!

I always do my best to support local business and hometown, the coffee and service are amazing and the prices more than reasonable. Always support small business!

Coffee Coop(as in chicken coop, not food co-op) is a «coffee hut» just West of Elizabeth(downhill from the Sonic), on the North side of Highway 86. I have driven by a lot, since they opened February 22, 2012, but I had not had an opportunity to stop in until this weekend. This is a local business owned by two sisters. Service at Coffee Coop was fast and very friendly. Carin(one of the owners) was working that day. She put my iced latte together in quick order, and had me on my way. They do take credit cards, which is very handy for those of us who do not carry much cash. The location is quite convenient, particularly for those heading towards Franktown(Parker & Castle Rock) in the mornings. The hours are: Mon — Fri: 5:30 am — 12:30 pm Sat: 6:30 am — 12:30 pm Sun: 7:00 am — 12:30 pm If I had one very minor complaint, it is that Coffee Coop is using«Coda Coffee». Specifically, I think they are using the same particular roast of beans as Grumpy’s. It is not a bad roast, but I think I prefer something a little richer and full-bodied, and perhaps a bit darker. (NOTE: I stopped in again in August 2012. Carin mentioned to me that had switched to a different roast/blend. I do like the new one more than the old. It is richer)
