This is probably the most authentic Colombian bakery in this area of New Jersey. The owners were born in Colombian and they have tried the best to keep the real Colombian food as it has supposed to taste. It feels really good every time I had the chance to go to the place. The servers are really nice. The thing I really love about the staff is they actually know what they are serving. They answer every question about the food in the best way! What can I say about the food here? It’s awesome. It’s always fresh! Pandebonos and pandeyucas(different types of Colombian cheese breads) are perfectly made it. The place is also always clean, and sometime could get a little noisy but I’m sure it was because we were on soccer ‘season’ and we latinos love our soccer matches very loud. Other than that I really recommend this place. Owners are always stopping by to these two locations they have in NJ and they are always taking care of their customers to make them feel like home!

I needed a Colombian dessert for my daughter’s brownie event. I googled nearby places and went here. I’m so glad I did. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. I explained that her troop picked Colombia for a special cultural event. They were thrilled and offered several suggestions. I was anticipating having a language barrier, but they were fluent in English. We ordered a guava and cream cheese bread and a few tasty treats to eat on the spot. Mine was flaky, yet moist crust and gooey cheese inside. Heaven! I will definitely be back.

Still the best Colombian empanadas in Elizabeth and the deditos de queso are perfect for a cup of coffee. For some reason they will not take a credit card for less than ten dollars.

I like this place. Its clean and you never have a problem finding parking on the street even though its a busy area. Good coffee and friendly staff. The chicharonnes with a potato was perfect, crisp and warm. Nice spot

Best Colombian pastries and breakfast! The empanadas are amazing. They are perfect in the morning and at night. Also try the pan de bono. So good. It is baked with a little bit of cheese inside. Oh lawddd! This is my go to spot for Colombian breakfast. Definitely get served promptly when you are there. It is a small café style coffee shop. They have some seats inside, and when the weather is nice they have some outside. This place is very affordable. But nobody eats just one empanada

Terrible! I just went in there because I was craving cake and both pinhos and crumbs are closed on Mondays! I bought 3 empanadas that were cold and hard and 2 cupcakes and a slice of cake that was kid you not extremely stale I’m saying the frosting was hard as a rock I pressed into the frosting and it stays in place and the cake itself was also stale! That’s bad business, I’ll never go back! I don’t understand how they can call themselves a bakery!

Ordered a chocolate cake with strawberry, pineapple, and chocolate mousse for the main cake. Ordered 12 cupcakes as well. I gave them two pic of the cake plus the liners I wanted for the cupcakes. Did not get MY liners on the cupcakes. When we went to cut the cake. The cake was white with cheap strawberry filing, not real strawberries, oh and the chocolate mousse was missing. I called them several times. They kept switching me to people. The owner was supposed to call me today but nothing. Not coming back to this place again. We have 8 kids with several adults for future business and guess what you lost them. By the way they messed up my cake last year too. I had to come back again to have them put lettering again even after giving them a picture. The cake I got yesterday. I could of bought it at Pathmark for cheaper. I got charged $ 78 for a cake that should cost $ 20. Whoever took my order needs to be fired.

I love their Café con Leche. I usually order their empanadas, arequipe donut or guava cheese pastry. Their menu is dirt cheap and their baked items are very fresh. I also love their Tres Leches cake.

All the Pastries are old & hard they don’t care about selling it like that they just want to get rid of them … The workers aren’t allowed to throw anything away so best believe if a Bread/cookie/Empanada Etc. falls on the ground it’s still gonna be sold.

I decided to buy a sandwish for breakfast. When I placed the order I realized that the lady that was making my sandwich was using the touch screen cashier using the same gloves that she was using to make my sandwich. Honestly I found it very disgusting. Those screens are being touched by all the people that collect the money and she was touching my food with them… I told her that next time she should change her gloves before getting In contact with the food and instead of realizing that what she did was wrong she got offended and started laughing at me. I wish the owner was there to make him aware of the situation and the way she handled it. Unfortunately don’t feel safe getting food that is being made for those ladies. Not a good experience

Pastries aren’t the best, my son had the chocolate Oreo cake, and it was very hard. I had the cannoli and it was extremely sweet. Coffee was on point and the food look very tasty. Staff was very nice. And bilingual. 7.5÷10

My low rating is not for the food. We liked the food, but what is disturbing about this place is that after my husband forgot his credit card there, it was removed from the premises and taken out of town by someone. Bottom like is that it’s been over a month and they never returned the card to us. My husband went back to them 3 – 4 times and in my opinion, he kept getting a run around. We cancelled the card, so they can’t use it. My advice is to use cash only at that place just to be safe.

I live right around the corner so this use to be my go to spot. Food is good but prices have gone up. 4.00 for a small fresh squeezed orange juice is a little rediculous. Empanadas and coffee are good and the service is good aswell.

The arepa with eggs, tomato and onion was SOGOOD! I loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. The empanada with cheese inside was really tasty, the meat filling wasn’t my favorite, but maybe I’m just not used to the Columbian spices. I want to go back and try some more of their empanadas and maybe some of their pastries too.

I live right here so I feel like the luckiest girl alive. No, the cakes and pastries are not the best I’ve ever had. But they are pretty darn good. Aside from the wonderful selection of spanish goodies they also have a case of your standard run of the mill desserts. Not only did I get some red velvet but I also got a piece of Oreo cookie cake. 2 red velvet cupcakes and a monster piece of Oreo cake under $ 8. What what! Really rich and sweet and everything a cake should be. Negative feelings on he icing across the board. But did I eat it? Yup! It’s a really nice little bakery. There are a few tables setup so you can sit and indulge if you want.

My godson, Juan’s parents ordered a cake from this bakery to celebrate his baptismal back in June. Not only was it beautiful, it was DELICIOUS! Densely moist, the vanilla was rich, but not purfumey, and the buttercreme frosting was light as air, but still flavorful! I’m looking forward to checking out their prices for our wedding cake & cupcakes.

I am intrigued with ethnic cuisines, and always looking to try new kinds of food. There has been a huge influx of Columbians, and other South and Central Americans into Elizabeth, and other urban areas of NJ, in the last few years. I don’t know much about Columbian pastries, or Columbian food in general, but I like Peruvian food, so I stopped in here to try a few items. i tried the cheesecake, the flan, and the churros. The cheesecake was lackluster, bland and dry. Admittedly, my standards for cheesecake are very high, being a fan of the Swiss Pastry Shoppe near my home in Scotch Plains. The flan was a disappointment as well – rubbery, and with not enough caramel flavor. I love good flan, but this was entirely forgettable, and I expected better from a Latin-American bakery. The churros, their signature item, were good, but how hard is it to twist up some dough, deep fry it, and douse it with cinnamon sugar? Not that I would refuse to come back here, but there are so many other, better ethnic bakeries in the area, that that this place pales in comparison.
