Ritz atre and Performing Arts Center

I saw a great play yesterday, but had terrible first experience at the theater.
To begin, there was no separate Will Call line, so one was suppose to wait in line for 30 minutes to pick up tickets and then go back again in long line to enter the theater, according to the security guard. It couldn’t be more illogical.
Additionally, There was barely any AC running, temperature inside must have been like 80 degrees. Despite persistent complaining by audience, no one from Ritz management bothered to fix it or even offer any explanation. On top of that, they shut down the remaining cooling, 20 minutes even before the play ended, to probably save more money.
Also, the dialogues were barely audible in the balcony area, so it was hard to make out what the actors said.

Pros: Spacious, clean
Cons: The speakers here are awful. I don’t know if it was because of the event we went to (Ankit Tiwari Concert) but I could not hear a single thing. The speakers kept cracking and having that turbulence noise. I would not go back until they fix those speakers.

There is one word that describes my experience here and it is uncomfortable. The seats are small and the seat ahead of you and behind you is way too close together. The seats themselves are very uncomfortable. Enough to say, this place needs to be desperately renovated.

The layout and size are great, but this place should really be renovated a little. It does have a cool old school feel, but it’s starting to turn a little janky. Needs some fresh paint and cleaner seats.
The usher stood around by the bar not helping anyone find their seats. The security guards were texting the entire time, and didn’t do much to quiet down the rowdy people at the bar.
Only worth going to if there’s a really good show that won’t be playing anywhere else nearby.
