Sometimes a road trip yields great dividends. We ended up in J. Sacco’s for a taste of food, life and conversation that is all-​too-​rare these days. The best meat, sausage and bread. If Martin Scorsese was going out to lunch in Jersey, he would go here.

Nice little Meat Market in Elizabeth, NJ. A very good friend of mine knows the owner very well, and had made great sandwiches for her for lunch. I had experienced and tasted the meat sandwiches first hand, and I tell you its awesome!
The owner’s name is John, and is one of the few butchers left in the U.S. Take advantage guys! This guy hand picks his own live animals! So you know you are not only getting fresh meat, but high «quality» meat as well!
Stop by and check the place out. Nice family owned shop thats been around for years! They sell other merchandise there as well!
P. S. Italian Homemade Sausages! Are you kidding me??? Im starting my car now, im on my way! ;)
