Visited on a Saturday night two weeks before Christmas. The place was packed with standing room only at 7:30 pm. There was a live band playing. Atmosphere: credit for creating a tavern/brewery type similar to those in larger cities. Brick walls, high ceilings, etc. Comfortable is how I would describe it. The place has pub tables, bar seating, and tables. Service: bartenders were friendly and pleasant. Craft Beer: several popular drafts were available. Bottle selections were also available. Music: too loud, too loud, too loud. It is a tavern not a rock concert. People go to drink, talk, have fun, and the music is the what ties it together. The band was talented and entertaining but too loud. Did I mention that the music was too loud? Keep the bands coming but a few decibels lower please. Price: reasonable for my 3 draft IPAs. $ 4 each I think. Comments: add a chalk board with top choices on draft. Add some light bar food like pretzels, nuts, etc. I will be back on quieter nights and tickled that I don’t have to drive to Louisville to have a decent beer. 4 stars since I don’t have to drive to Louisville. Nice job.

Nice to have a place like this in E-Town. Small, but lots of seating. Had a lot of fun.

A lovely space on the square, all brick and vintage-industrial coziness, with big big windows looking out on a sunset reflected in the faces of the buildings across the street. Good tap list, good bottles. We stopped in shortly after the 4:00 p.m. opening, and the place filled up fast. We had assorted Rhinegeists and a Bourbon Barrel stout, and maybe a few other things — who can keep track? The guy next to us at the bar drank a bottle of Michelob. This is a spot for everyone.
