So far never was too fond of Chinese food here, since every dish I tried pretty much tastes the same. That was before I discovered HONGKONG! Food is fresh, each dish has its own unique taste. The menu has an amazing selection not only limited to Chinese food but also Hibachi and Sushi. Can you say HEAVEN??? I mostly get the food delivered and they are super friendly and I get the food actually still being hot and fresh. And to add to my things to praise, one of the only non chain food places locally where I can order online through Beyond Menu! Make sure to check out their heavenly Crab Rangoon!!!

I love this place… Since I moved to eTown 4 years ago I cannot say that I have tasted Chinese food as good as this anywhere else in eTown. They deliver and that makes it extra-special when you just do not feel like leaving the home

Ordered delivery this evening from Hong Kong and it was delicious!!! My order was received in approximately 15 minutes. The chicken with broccoli and white rice was piping hot and delicious. Crab Rangoon and egg rolls were crunchy, hot and very tasty. Delivery was to my hotel room and they included everything I needed; plates, forks, soy sauce, duck sauce, mustard, hot sauce and fortune cookies. Highly recommend!

I just ordered delivery from this place: AHHHHMAZING! I moved to E-Town from DC about two weeks ago and decided to venture out to my first Chinese delivery. These guys left a menu in my mailbox so(after looking them up on Unilocal) I decided to go for it. I have NEVER gotten Chinese food delivered so well. These guys don’t just dump soy sauce and fortune cookies into a brown bag, they literally put utensils, fortune cookies, and soy sauce in a ZIPPED Ziploc bag at the top. They also included free Crab Ragoon without even being asked(yes, I saw the promotion of a free order on their menu, but didn’t bring it up.) besides being thoroughly impressed with the delivery and promptness of the delivery, the food was great. It was delicious and not greasy at all. YUM! Will be ordering from them again!

We ordered again from Hong Kong but this time I placed the order at 3:30 for a 5:30 delivery time. They delivered on time and the food was almost too hot to eat! Talk about fresh! We got Rangoon’s for free and they, and everything else were unbelievable delicious! I stand by my previous review. This is by far the best Chinese food available in Etown! Hong Kong is going to be the biggest and best in our small town!

Very very good. Little hole in the wall run by a cute little family. Food is fresh, flavorful, abundant and the service is fantastic!

Much better than double dragon, the other local Chinese take out place. I ordered in once, food was nicely temperature hot. Also did take away, also hot when I got home. Prices are something like $ 7 for a lunch combo, chicken and fried rice. Lo mein was good. Rice was good. Great egg rolls. Moo goo gai pan was really good.

We LOVE Hong Kong and haven’t had anything we didn’t enjoy. Having it delivered is awesome as well. We haven’t had Chinese anywhere else since they opened and we have Hong Kong al least once a week.

The food here is the best asian I have had in town. It is not a buffett so everything is made to order. My favorite is the curry shrimp but everything else I have tried is also good. Very friendly staff but the restaurant is not really made for eating in. Small with poor strip mall floors and décor. That is why it only got 4 stars.

The past two times that I have ordered food from here have been excellent. The only dud was the egg rolls don’t seem fresh, but otherwise good food.

I went here… not expecting much… but was pleasantly surprised. They have the BEST rice I’ve ever had! I had the beef and broccoli, and while it wasn’t fabulous, it was ok. The one thing I didn’t care for was the soup. All in all, I’d go back and sample other dishes, I hear their dumplings are yummy(as I sample more my stars may have to be adjusted)! Lol

Tastes just like double dragon… Like an exact copy of double dragon… They do have decent sushi however– so that is a difference.

I tried Hong Kong for the first time tonight and it is AWESOME! I had sushi and it was very fresh and made to order. We also ordered the crab rangoon, egg rolls and General Tso… all amazing! The staff was very friendly and welcoming even though we came in toward the end of the evening. Highly recommended!!!

So — I’ve been let down by Chinese food places in or near Elizabethtown more times than I can count(check my reviews if you don’t believe me). But the takeaway containers here… they’re just the best. KIDDING. Who rates a place based on its takeaway containers??? Snark aside, this place isn’t bad for Chi-merican takeaway, certainly compared to the local alternatives, but even in its own right. I recently stopped in after an extra crappy day and was really pleasantly surprised by their pan fried dumplings: they’re the only ones I’ve had in Elizabethtown that weren’t gummy, unpleasantly chewy, or(somehow) both unpleasant textures at once. Plus the filling was tasty and the dipping sauce tasted a bit more complex(and yummy, franky) than just soy sauce, sugar, and red pepper flakes. I really liked the texture of the spring and egg roll fillings — sizeable enough to be able to recognize what they’re made of(not some creepy, homogeneous glop), but not huge hunks of undercooked cabbage, onion, or other filling ingredients. Some of the ‘specialties’ on their current menu don’t seem to exist, having tried to order them. Terrible crab Rangoon. The filling tastes like cream cheese icing. Really. But since I didn’t order them and didn’t pay for them, either, not sure it’s fair to throw stones. A couple of things that I ordered were just passable, others were really good(chicken and snow peas was amazing, for example), but I think that has more to do with me taking the time to check out the menu and find my favorites. Everything was hot and freshly made for each guest. The food and service was definitely good enough for me to make Hong Kong my new standby take-away spot even though their noodles are more oily than necessary. Seems like an all-hands-on-deck-opening, with lots of family members contributing. Restaurant is small, but was busy, both with a few folks and families eating in and folks in and out for call-in and walk-in take-away. Prices and portions were good. Didn’t try sushi or hibachi.
