Nice selection. But don’t ask about any fairly rare bourbon. A sarcastic«let me guess» followed by a condescending speech will follow instead of a «sorry guys we don’t have it».

Easily the best bourbon selection in E-town at this time. Staff is very friendly and interactive. I got a Willett 11 year private selection bourbon that was quite tasty on my first visit. Second visit, they actually remembered me and saved me a bottle of the 2014 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. I look forward to my next visit when I’m in town!

I want to say that for what is available in Hardin county, including the class six on base, it doesn’t get much better than this place for beer selection. As an avid craft beer drinker, I really appreciate when I see places like this in BMC country(that’s Bud, Miller, Coors). Their growler station is where its at. Hell, if you can pay damn near identical prices here for a growler fill as you can at the actual brewery, that’s a win to me. I can’t speak much for their liquor or the wine selection since I don’t seek that kind of thing. If its craft beer you want, this is the place to go in Hardin county. BTW, Olivia, Chimay is the type of beer you don’t necessarily want fresh. If they have ‘expired’ blue or red label chimay(expiration, I believe is at 5 years) for regular price, snatch it up. Vintage Chimay is the drink of the gods!

So… this place has more beers(particularly upscale options) than available anywhere else in the county, whether we’re talking growlers or bottled. Unfortunately, not much judgment was exercised on what they stock, as long as it was pricey. And when it was pricey, it was usually nearly(if not already) out of date by the time you pick it up… Chimay, for example. But just because it’s the best in Etown doesn’t make it five star. They have a diverse liquor selection, including some moderate-level brands that certainly aren’t available at a grocery or drug store. Again, not exceptional, but the best you’re gonna find in the 42701. Their wine selection is offensively poor, and badly displayed/stocked. Their productive store floor is definitely skewed to shelf liquors and mixers — wine-wise, I would never buy anything but a cheap bottle from a place stocking their wine the way this place does. I wish a more well-rounded approach was taken when stocking their taps. I don’t mind a small tap local place not having something I like on tap. I *do* mind all of the growler offerings being one note. Hell, no doubt they’re making money hand over fist. And I don’t have a problem with folk making money — but when it’s for crap, inflation-level overpriced, price-picked selection, rather that what is actually available and tasty; when staff have fairly limited knowledge & product awareness, well, that’s a problem.

Best liquor store in E’town. Great wine and bourbon selection. Beer section is amazing. Lots of micro brewery selections plus a growler station with 8 micro/craft beers on tap. Simply outstanding!
