We called 1−800-GOT-JUNK because we were in a bind. These guys are amazing! First we called because we had a large piece of furniture we couldn’t fit in our new place. One of the movers on Tuesday asked about it and we said he could have it for free. He said he’d come get it after work on Wednesday(the evening before our closing). The goof stiffed us! We posted a curb alert on Craig’s List. We had interest but Thursday morning it was still there. I called 1−800-GOT-JUNK. They were polite, professional and promised to be there that afternoon. I e-mailed the interested people from Craig’s List and told them the race was on. The 1−800-GOT-JUNK men were supposed to be there between 1:00 and 3:00. We couldn’t be there because of our 2:00 p.m. closing. Adam called to say they were on their way. I called them back from the closing to make sure the furniture was gone. Adam assured me it was. He said when they pulled up a woman and a boy were trying to load it but it was too heavy for them. Adam and his partner(Mitchell, if I recall) got out and helped them load the heavy piece into their pickup. Then he tells me «no charge» because they didn’t remove it. These two are very fine gentlemen. Back to the closing… the new owners didn’t want the pool table that came with the house. Back out in the hallway to call the 1−800-GOT-JUNK folks. No problem, they can schedule the pool table removal for Saturday afternoon. Steven and John called me today(Saturday) right on time to say they’re on their way. About 45 minutes later Steven calls back and says they’re all done and the new homeowners are all smiles. I am very impressed with this company and all of their employees. It’s clear they are carefully hired, well trained and they don’t just haul away junk, they really care about helping people. I cannot recommend them enough. We’re 1−800-GOT-JUNK customers for life!
