Of all the years Logan’s has been in Elk Grove, today has been our first time. I actually liked the ambiance inside. It felt very bright and spacious when you walk in. Very different from the dark cramp feeling of Texas Roadhouse. The hubbs ordered their grilled salmon with fries & skewered vegetables. Can’t really mess up salmon much and the vegetables had a great grilled flavor to it. I ordered the chicken & shrimp combo with fries and steamed broccoli. The shrimp was edible but way too salty. Thank goodness for the broccoli to help balance out the shrimp. The yeast bread rolls that accompany your food was delicious although it’s served with regular butter vs the cinnamon honey butter from Texas Roadhouse.

Overall very disappointed with the quality of the food and also never received our appetizer. I ordered a swiss mushroom burger which is a usual for me when eating out and this was the first time in a long time that this type of burger did not taste good to me. The bun was horrible and the flavor overall was not up to par. My date ordered a sirloin and was equally as disappointed. It definitely was not good beef, there are definitely better steaks and burgers in Elk Grove. Our drinks however were good and contained good portions of alcohol. Unfortunately we will not be back to Logans.

My review is specifically for the bar, beer, and apps, as Logan’s is a place our crew frequents on our«happy hour» weekly get togethers in Elk Grove, not necessarily for dinner in the restaurant area. Adina is a 5* bartender who always anticipates our beer and app orders. I am always happy when we get there and see she is there. I am not as familiar with the other bartenders. Great cold glasses and good selection of beers on tap to make everyone in our group happy. I personally love they have 805 and Longboard on tap. Others are happy with the IPAs(Sierra Nevada) and your flavored water(Coors light). We come when it’s generally slow(early happy hour), so no big crowd and a great time to sit at the bar and hang out with a group of friends. We always get a selection of bar apps and never have had a problem. Logan’s will continue to be on our list of regular spots to stop due to great service, beers, and great happy hour.

The service was decent but my husband’s food came out with a hair fried into the shrimp. It was disgusting and when they took his plate back to make a new one, there is no way that they had enough time to recook anything. I’m pretty sure they took the one piece off and microwaved the plate because there’s no way it took less that 5 mins to cook more. He told them after it came out he didn’t want anything anymore but they still brought the plate back out which he did refuse. That is our last trip. It’s not our first bad experience there.

It;s been years since we’ve been back here — not for any particular reason — just live out of town. I have noticed they are not nearly as crowded as they used to be when I drive by. I always wondered why and people have said the food has gone down the tubes. Stopped in with the family last weekend during shopping and again there was hardly anyone in there. Why??? We all liked our food and the service was great. I don’t get it …

Used to love this place until suddenly the environment changed the service was crap the food was wrong but we are it because we didn’t want take an hour to flag down the waitress and another to get the right food. I don’t know if management changed or what but whatever the change was, was not good.

This place is so awesome I come here a lot and get the same thing every time. If you want to great burger get the barbecue burger! The cheese sticks are great as well but all of this is definitely topped off with a not your fathers root beer. It really hits the spot when you are craving a burger and a drink! But you can’t order that drink unless you are over 21 years of age! So kids you cannot buy it ha ha Ha but at the same time the service here is phenomenal and the staff is super friendly! My friend had a problem with her salad so I asked the manager Samantha very nicely if she could replace it and she gave us a new one and she compensated the salad! It was very nice of her! I am definitely coming back to this location!

Wanted to say thank you to Logan’s roadhouse for helping my family celebrate Veteran’s day with my dad. The food and service was great.

The food was good but the service was great! Jose F was our server and he made sure we were set without smothering is. The icing on the cake was when he heard we were celebrating my grandma’s birthday and(without being asked or prompted to) came over to say happy birthday and bring her ice cream. She was so surprised and excited and we were too. It was a moment to go above and beyond his job description and it was so appreciated. Thank you!

We went with a group of 17 people. We have a group of friends that get together every couple of months at a different restaurant. We have both Meat-eaters and vegetarians. Logan“s seated us in a large private room and sent one waitress to take care of us. Nicole did an incredible job as our waitress and handled our group very well. Kudos to her. A lot of food went home in white plastic boxes because the portions here are very generous. There was one problem of a wrongly prepared cut of meat and a new plate was in the diners place quickly. Their appetizers and side dishes cover the gamut of typical offerings and the«green bean appetizer» was reordered because the group couldn’t get enough. I won’t mention individual dishes because there is simply too much to report. Heavy carnivores left happy as well as the vegetarians. Logan’s did a great job for us on a Saturday evening.

They have an awesome Salmon salad, but don’t ever get steamed mushrooms, they literally look and taste straight from a can.

I was contacted by a manager and was given vouchers to give Logans another try. Which I appreciate that they care about their customers satisfaction. We came in on Friday night around 10, it was pretty slow so we were seated right away. The waiter took our order and brought out some fresh bread for us. My husband ordered a prime rib with sweet Potatoes and corn. Everything was good except the corn, corn was pretty dry. I ordered steak and shrimp, zucchini and loaded potatoes. Steak was moist and better than expected. And my zucchini was grilled and cooked fully this time around. Overall food was good 3.5 our server was attentive so 4 stars for me overall .And no waits to be seated and you’re in and out.

The service was very slow. It took our waitress forever to come by our table so we could order drinks. It took even longer for us to get our drinks. We kept asking other servers to help us instead. When we finally got brought our food, we had no silverware and when we asked for some it took way too long for it to be brought to us. Our food started to get cold. I ordered the Roadhouse tea flight so that I could try different flavors of a long island iced tea and was unimpressed with all of them. The best is still the original. The other teas were just a long island with a shot of a sweet alcohol. I was unimpressed. As far as the food went, I was also unimpressed. The peanuts were the best part. I could seriously see myself only coming back to eat peanuts. I ordered a shrimp dish that came with popcorn shrimp, fried shrimp, and regular shrimp. For my two sides, I ordered a side salad and the mac and cheese. The shrimp seemed to be pretty good quality, but I was very unimpressed with the mac and cheese. It seriously reminded me of velveeta or kraft mac and cheese. Honestly that’s not a big deal, but then add some other flavor to make it unique or original. Overall, I was just unimpressed with this place and would not recommend it.

Experienced very poor service when we came to Logan’s for a school fundraiser a couple of weeks ago. I came in and was waiting for the rest of my party. I stood at the host station and 3 staff members walked right by me without greeting me. Another gentleman entered after me and we stood there confused and waiting for someone to acknowledge us. Finally, the hostess came by and asked if we’d been helped and we said we hadn’t. Then she walked away. What? Finally, when I was seated, it took 10 minutes before a server even came by my table. I told her I was waiting for the rest of my group and ordered appetizers while I waited. When the rest of my group came and the appetizers arrived, I asked for appetizer plates, which never arrived. Then she waited until we finished our appetizers before taking our food orders. This meant another 20 minute wait after the appetizers were finished before the main courses arrived. In the meantime, we asked for extra dipping sauces and re-fills for drinks, which never materialized. We finally had to flag down another staff member. Then the original server came by AFTER we received the dips and drinks and goes«Oh, I never brought your(appetizer) plates.» WTF?! Like I mentioned, we were there for a fundraiser so when the check came, we made it a point to give her the tickets needed so the school would get the credit for our meals. She said, «Oh, I got those from you guys already». We were confused because we didn’t give her anything. We opened the check holder to show her that it was not in there and she just looked at us like«Oh, I guess not». After we got the check back, my sister did not see anything on the check indicating that it was credited to the school, so we asked for clarification. Rather than show us, she just waved us off and said, «Oh, it’s taken care of». After how unreliable she had been the whole night, we were not entirely assured that this was the case and had to ask a manager to make sure. Suffice it to say, we are never coming back to Logan’s again, not even for a fundraiser.

It’s really hard for me to give Logan’s just 3 stars because the service that we received today was amazing. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. We ordered the French Dip sandwich and the Rib sampler. I was actually really impressed with the ribs. They were tasty, had lots of meat with every individual rib and they were literally fall to the bone good. The French Dip on the other hand was just ok. I usually like the roast beef cut thin so that the au jus sauce really gets inside of the meat. However, the meat was cut so thick that the sauce was saturated by just the bread. Also, after the first and second bite a lot of the meat would be gone and you would be stuck with just the end parts of the hoagie roll. The positive of this sandwich was that it was packed with flavor and the grilled onions added a nice sweetness to a normally salty type sandwich. For dessert, we ordered the mud pie and it was a nice finish to an early lunch. Normally, I don’t care for coffee ice cream but this particular ice cream hit the spot. Overall, I would give this visit a 3.5 ‘s. Mostly for the service because it was top notch. Me being the burger guy that I am, I think I will go with the fried cheese burger next time around.

We were driving five hours and stopped here for a good meal and was utterly disappointed. My dad ordered the ribs and chicken and the chicken was very dry and the ribs were dry and with no flavor. My mom got the teriyaki chicken and it was over cooked and flavorless. My dad also got the tea sampler and they were tasteless and the tye-dye tea(which is supposed to look colorful and fun) looked like a blue-brown-black liquid in a mason jar.(which is disappointing) I had the special onion brewski steak and it was lackluster at best. The only things that were good were the yeast-bread(that was actually really great that is what the one star was for) and the sweet potato. As a group we have discussed that we could have overlooked all this bad if the staff were friendlier but they were not. It seemed like they did not want to be there(which I get, it’s a job) but at least they should have acted like it! This staff seemed like they were zombies and it was not okay. The guy behind us was looking to have fun and banter with his waiter and recognized the waiter from a previous visit, but the waiter seemed out of it and awkward and killed the conversation completely. And sadly that was more than our waiter gave to us. On top of that the bathrooms were a disaster. We spent a lot of money, $ 90 for 3 people; for something that was so unsatisfactory and we will not come here again. I am in the food industry and I guess it was a learning experience on what not to do as a waitress. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I hate complaining about restaurants because I know what it is like to get a bad review and people putting a business down. But I felt like I had to do this so other people don’t have the same experience that my family did.

No one was at the front to seat or greet us so we just snagged a menu and looked over as we waited for someone to come. Someone met us about 5 minutes later… The food here isn’t very good. I Ordered the big easy shrimp and the rice that came with it was about 1⁄3 of a cup. It was extremely dry and there were like 4 beans in there. I was expecting a side of beans. The shrimp was bland, a little spicy even after I asked for NOSPICY seasoning. But I couldn’t even get the taste of the shrimp. I ended up having our Waiter take it back and I just kept the mashed potato and the potato soup sides. My boyfriend ordered the ribs and had me try a piece. They were pretty dry and had no flavor at all unless dipped in the BBQ. He told me he didn’t like meat that relied on sauce for flavor. Honestly I didn’t like my experience here and I don’t see myself returning. The food is one of the worst I have had. And I feel bad saying that but we should’ve listened to the reviews before coming. Overall the bread rolls at the beginning excited me for the main course but once I got my soup I began to become disappointed. For the price I prefer outback definitely.

Great happy hour, and during football games it’s extended. Not sure about other sports, but I’d assume they do that for baseball and basketball. Probably not soccer(lol). The drinks are stiff and priced well during happy hour. During regular hours, it’s on par with chain restaurants. Happy hour eats are good, nothing is priced over $ 6 and go as little as $ 3. Yup! That’s what I like to see! Beer selection is good. I love their teas, which is Logan’s take on the good il’ Long Island. Oh one is plenty for me on a weeknight(bring it on a weekend!). Other food besides happy hour is decent. Steaks are always cooked to temp, considering it’s a steak house one would assume. But the star of the meal are the hot yeast rolls. That sounds gross, but damn are those little devils easy to eat. I’ve only sat in the dining room a few times, so my main interaction with service is the bar which is always good, making this on o d my favorite HH spots in EG.
