The carne sada tacos are great. The salsa is wonderful and corn tortillas are fresh. Owner is super nice!

A friend brought me a carne asada quesadilla from this establishment … A must try! Can’t wait to visit for lunch myself soon and explore the rest of the menu.

Cheap flavorful tacos filled with meat! What’s not to love? They offer a variety of tasty meats: lengua(tongue), Chicharon(fried pig skin), adobada, carne asada… The carnita taco and grilled jalapeño is what I always go with –super tender, juicy meat over flowing the double corn tortillas.

They have authentic tacos and a good chicken burrito but their menu is limited. I got bored of their food fast.

My husband and I were walking down the steps of Sheldon Feed & Supply, heading to our car, when I noticed a white taco truck parked across the street. I’m not sure what it is that excites me about these little mobile gems but I got all giddy with joy. So we walked across the two lane road and ordered some grub. I’m not much of a taco fan. I’m a burrito kind of girl but for La Fuente I might just change my mind. Their carnita tacos are the best I’ve ever had. The pork was deliciously crisp and moist. I’m salivating just thinking about it. Each order is served with a freshly grilled whole jalapeño. Its skin was nicely blackened and still warm when I bit into it. They even have a table set up with 4 chairs if you’re in the mood to eat roadside. That’s where we ate. It was fun seeing the awkward stares of passersby. What can I say? I’m a cheap date. I can’t wait until the next time we need more chicken feed so I can have another La Fuente taco!
