Took my sisters iPhone 5s to get the charging port fixed. Previous owner couldn’t get the job done but the new owner didn’t a great job fixing the phone and give me a discount on the price. definitely will be back for future business. Thanks again :)

My boyfriend got his iPhone 5s repaired here awhile back, this didn’t put the screen on correctly.
And when we went to the store the worker seemed to be very uncaring, she was just on her phone, as we stood there waiting for her to acknowledge that we needed assistance. She didn’t bother to help us until he said «excuse me, can you replace my screen for my iPhone» she handed us a paper and said «here, fill this out» and continued on her phone

In my 7 years of owning a smart phone I’d never broken a screen before. Not because I never drop my phone or keep it an a super protective case, but I’d manage to avoid this fate. The first time my phone fell facedown onto my hardwood floor. Within days the screen I had replaced here broke at the corner. I figured this was just a bit of bad luck and had the screen replaced again with these guys. Within one week the 3^rd screen was shattered while on my desk at work. This time I took it to another nearby repair place and have since dropped my phone at least once a day with no problem. Added to the fact that they are apparently using sub standard materials she gave me the hard sell to buy accessories every time I was in the store. Avoid it and go to one of the many other repair places that charge the same price nearby.

Really Bad place I went there to fix my Blackberry, They Hold my phone for 9 days, the store was closed for 3 days and when I went to pick up my phone it was not ready
I took it home and was not working, I did bring it back, and today still not working all that took 15 days and 75.00 $ And all that for nothing

Customer service from Katherine was excellent and made my whole experience smooth. I had visited CPR first and they were not friendly at all and $ 30 more expensive. So glad I called this place. Very professional place to deal with. Thank you Katherine!

This business is rude, hostile, defensive, and dismissive of customer satisfaction. They’re operating a shady business that I have no intention of going back to. They’re located near Mountain Mike’s, east of Hwy. 99.
My 17-​year old daughter took her phone there because she has not been able to hear out of the left speaker on her headphones. She had a small crack in her screen when she took it in. Katherine, the owner, told her that she’d have to take her phone apart to get at the problem. She warned her the screen might crack further. My daughter wanted to hear out of both headphones, so she agreed. When she went to pick up the phone from Katherine, the screen had a strange tint to it. Katherine couldn’t explain it, only said «it must be because it’s a 5S, I can’t compare it to my 6+.» But the screen had been replaced, so my daughter paid for the new screen. She never fixed the problem with the sounds, said it’s probably a software thing. She charged my daughter $ 91.80 for the new screen.
After that, when my daughter was explaining this transaction to her friend, he showed her that the «Audio Volume Balance» was off in the «Settings» in her phone. That fixed the problem. Katherine, having a cell phone repair business, should have known to check that.
I went in to the business with my daughter today, and with the receipt. I expected them to acknowledge that, being a mobile phone repair shop, they should have checked the balance before taking the phone apart, especially when they knew it might do further damage to the phone. What she did was not right, and I assumed she’d try to at least partially compensate. We had NOT read the reviews on Unilocal up to this point.
Katherine and another female were there. Katherine acknowledged that she remembered my daughter and the transaction. I started by explaining how I understand that she was attempting to help my daughter fix the problem with her phone. When I began talking to her about how the troubleshooting would naturally start with NOT taking the phone apart, she started to get defensive. After acknowledging that my daughter had said she couldn’t hear out of both ear buds, she said that my daughter told her the headphone jack is the problem, and that she wanted IT repaired. My daughter did not diagnose the problem, she asked the woman to do that. I asked her, «you’re a repair shop, you expect this 17-​year old to be able to diagnose the problem when she came in for your help?» Her response, «It’s not MY job to be her mother, ma’am!» I tried calmly explaining to her, again, that she should have known about the simple fix, and that she shouldn’t have taken the phone apart, causing more damage, then charging her for the damage. I told her, «if you don’t give her some of her money back, I am going to advertise this, and give you a bad Unilocal review.» She laughed and said, «are you threatening me?» I said, «I’m going to tell the truth about how you do business.» Katherine then told me «I don’t need to listen to this, I can tell you to leave.» The other worker then started in, they were both talking over me, and the other woman said, «we can tell you to leave by law.» I said, «I know that – I’m a lawyer.» So the other worker said, «if you’re a lawyer, you need to get out.» She asked for my name, and I was happy to give it. I do happen to be a lawyer, not that I’m making any threats in that sense. But we’ve been honest and professional, while the business has been irrational and unfair.
I asked Katherine whether she spelled her name with a «K» or a «C,» and she said, «I don’t have to tell you that!» They then left (went behind the wall partition) and we walked out.
With all of the competition out there, supporting this business, with the way they rip people off and aren’t accountable for their own mistakes (fraud, according to other posts), I urge you to support other Elk Grove businesses. They didn’t troubleshoot right, then they were unprofessional and hostile when I had the nerve to call them on it. They should NOT be serving the public. They don’t deserve your money.

Phones plus is a total scam. I broke my screen, they charged me $ 150. No prob. I put it in a life proof case thinking that would protect it. Dropped it a few days later an the screen cracked… Isn’t the life proof case… I come back… Another $ 150… A month later, in the life proof case, the phone fell of a table not 3 feet of the ground… Screen is not cracked but the phone goes blank… So I bring it back and the lady says it would «only» be $ 120… I calmly explain with a smile, I’ve spent a lot of money with their business on «repairs» and accessories (which are ALL used) and the phone wasn’t even damaged aside from it being blank. She made up story after story after story about my «damaged» phone. She won’t stand by her work and becomes irate, begins cussing at me and orders me out of the store. I drove over to CPR phone repair which was recommended by my co worker. They only charged me $ 35 and it was ready in 15 mins. They even showed me the inside of my phone… The lady at phones plus had super glued all over the inside of my phone with mix matching parts… And also used some off brand of screen when she had assured me she used «factory» parts… I’m in total disbelief these crooks at phones plus are allowed to operate at all.

They are a great business. Show your support. They do things right and for a good price. Very satisfied. Kat and Sheiry were both wonderful people and pleasant work with.

I brought my stepdaughter’s Galaxy in here for a screen replacement. It was ready for pickup in 24 hours. We’ve never had any issue with it since. I brought my iPhone 5c in when my screen got cracked. They fixed my screen and gave me a package deal for a case and glass protector. I was really happy with the price I paid and my phone was totally ready to go in less than an hour.
Now a month since my iPhone was fixed, the screen just started acting a little glitchy. I called and they said they’d absolutely take care of it for me. They told me just to call before I come so they could make sure they have the right part.
So far I’m really impressed by their customer service. I’ll update this review one they fix the issue on my phone.
UPDATE — They fixed my iPhone with no charge since it was within 30 days. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!!
This is a company that is interested in YOU SAVING MONEY! (weird right). I went in with an Old Galaxy S3 with a broken LCD. Every where I searched I was quoted approx. $ 140-​$ 175. The owner of the business suggested that I should possibly think of purchasing a new handset. After spending an hour answering all of my questions. I found the perfect phone, I was able to get an Upgrade For ONLY $ 50 after trading in my broken phone!!! In addition… I was able to keep my number and leave verizon. I am now on a prepaid service (Still on Verizon towers) and only spending $ 55 a month… SAVING ME ALMOST $ 100 A MONTH!!!
I will be switching my wife over next month… im so happy!

Simply put… they will screw you over if they get the chance! Dont let them… if you dont know much about the newest smartphones you better update yourself because theyre not afraid to lie about the phone in order to buy it. I went in with an iphone5c & left with a nokia 520… i thought it had a front camera… and id be able to still get all the apps i had. Instead i got a hand full of lies & a shitty phone. Just educated yourself & dont be ignorant… my first mistake.

This place is a joke
Took my boyfriend’s phone in, because it was cracked. So they charged me $ 130 for a new screen. Not a problem. After the phone was fixed, the screen began to pop off a little bit at a time. Maybe a month after having t fixed, the screen just stopped working all together. We took the phone back, and I explained to the lady at the counter (who knew nothing about phones) about how we had been in there before to have it fixed already. She went into a back room, and I’m assuming to speak with a manager, then came back and told us we would have to pay ANOTHER $ 130 for a new screen.
I made it very clear that I was not going to pay for something to be done to the phone a second time, that should have been done correctly the first time. So after saying that she left again to go check with her manager. At this point I asked her to please have the manager come out and speak to us. I was getting very frustrated trying to have a conversation with someone who obviously didn’t know what she was talking about.
Then the girl come back, (with out the manager of course) and said that we would only have to pay $ 30 for the labor fee. At this point I just wanted the the phone fixed and to leave, so I paid the $ 30. They told me that my phone would be ready in 3 – 5 days.
After 3 days, I called to check on the phone. Turns out that who ever was supposed to order the part for the phone, «forgot to». Then another 3 – 5 days was added. After anther 3 days, they told me that for whatever season I needed to wait a few more days.
Finally they called me and told me it was ready to be picked up. As my boyfriend and I were getting in the car to eave, I get another call from them asking for the password to the phone, «to check if all the functions were working.» Of course I told them NO! And I said I would be more comfortable being present and entering the password myself.
Not even a minute later, I get ANOTHER call, saying that they no longer needed the password because everything was working fine… Seems a little odd to me that they needed my password one minute to make sure the phone was working, and then after i said no, it was all f a sudden working perfectly fine…
Unfortunately, the same thing that happened last time with the screen popping off after being fixed, started happening again. These people do not know how to do their jobs are are VERY shady. I would never trust them with another one of my devices ever again.

Friendly staff here helped me with my Galaxy s3. I will be back I am sure.. Just hopefully not to soon. Highly recommended from a customer they made happy.

I went to this store to sell my note 3. They gave me more then I expected and help me get a new phone. I had to get my daughter a phone that I could afford. Bentley help me be able to get her a phone on my budget. Bentley has helped my friends get there phones fixed at a very reasonable price. they are amazing… I will never go anywhere else. thank you Bentley. phones plus rocks.

I would not recommend anyone coming here. This place will overcharge you and they seem like they do not want to do your business. I called regarding a iphone part I needed fixed and the man who answered the phone was very rude. He seemed like he didn’t care if I drove from sacramento to get my phone fixed there or not. I asked him about the price of the parts for the iphone because I saw the ad on craigslist and he was telling me how they did not have that part available and that I would need to go to their store and pay for the part so they can order it. Anyways, it was too much of a hassle, BUT if he was friendly then I would of gone to get my phone fixed here.
And the good note is I went to get my phone fixed somewhere else where they fixed it within 30 minutes in Davis. Good thing i didn’t end up going here.

Well to start off I’m giving 3 stars could have been 5 but their invasion on privacy pretty much ruined it for me.
Day (Du) the owner knows his stuff, is very business mannered, polite and makes you feel comfortable leaving your device in his hands.
Broken iPod screen a simple fix they say they do 30 a day. ok fine!
Came back brand new looking, all functions are up & running.
But question is whyyyy???
When I look at my «last used» list (double click home)
My photo & Schools (bank) app was there. I made sure to clear my history when i left my ipod with them, just bc I felt the need to.
So as to professionalism they LACK!
Well I caught them snooping my bank acct & pictures.

I found out that they now offer educational classes for those less tech-​savvy people to use their phones. so i brought my mom in so she could learn to use her iphone better, because i can only take so much explaining to her before i want to throw her phone in the toilet. Kat is the name of the teacher and she’s great. The environment of the store is nice and comfortable. She’s very patient and she’s good at explaining things about the phone in a way an average person would understand. I’m surprised at how much my mom can do now with her iphone, she was eager to show and help my dad once we got home. thanks Kat! you’ve saved me from a lot of future headaches trying to help my parents myself LOL!

I went in to get my screen fixed and I had an a great time the people were very friendly. They answered all my questions I had. There prices were very reasonable. In my opinion they are the very best.
I went to look at other places and they just wanted to make a quick buck but not phones plus.

Great products and wonderful customer service. I received nothing but the best service every time from the owner and his wife. They went above and beyond to get my phone fixed. I recommend them to all my friends!
