Rebecca’s Guest Home is a rarity in elder care. The facility is a single-level home with 6 resident capacity. Becky has done a wonderful job creating a homey atmosphere that is filled with love, hugs and stimulating conversation. My late mother was a resident for about 4 years. She loved living in the warm, loving, safe and comfortable environment. Mom had a private room that was light and airy, very cheerful, comfortable and fully equipped with a bed, dresser, night stand, wingback chair, bookcase and lamp. There is a nice sized closet and hookups available for phone and cable TV. Meals are a community affair with everyone dining together. Mom loved the food and especially John’s BBQ or his baked salmon, Becky’s homemade soups and cakes. There is a lovely back yard with patio and flowers. The living room with a big screen TV and comfy couches. Becky, Amy and John are very hard-working, fun, compassionate and warm care-givers. Mom felt like she was part of Becky and Amy’s families. I could drop in randomly and that was a big plus for me. I felt this was the best possible place we could have found for Mom. Openings are rare because the residents love living there. I will be eternally grateful for the amazing care that my mom received while at Rebecca’s Guest Home!
