This place is one of Elk Grove best decisions to build! We recycle all of our fluorescent bulbs(and our neighbors), batteries, paint, e-waste, oil, and just about everything else. The reuse room is great! Free stuff, up to 10 items a month for EG residents. New and used things. We go every Sunday, yes, Sunday’s they’re open! I’d also like to say that the staff is very professional and very friendly.

I think that’s great that they have this re-usable room here in Elk Grove! It’s a small secret gem that my hubby is going to be pissed that I’m reviewing to let the whole world know it’s available. We found out via one of the many news channels we watch. Between my HB and I think we are too neurotic to be watching it all the frickin time! Anywho you can also bring your recyclables here. We just dropped off a couple cans of the old house paint as we just recently had our house painted this month that it looks like a brand new home! Even our contractor was amazed to see the new paint job and it was he who recommended the painter!!! This recyclable place has been here for a year now; so very convenient for us as it isn’t that far away. Just a hop, skip and jump… no a car drive away like only ten minutes if that! They have a ten item limit that you can pick up items in their reuse room they call it. I just suggest you go to the bathroom prior as there are signs saying No Bathrooms available!!! In their reuse room, we picked up the unopened liquid paper, bottle of Windex, couple small jars of white paint and some pesticide which my hubby used already! They just require you to fill out the form of what items you are taking and their description plus need your name, address and phone number. Simple straightforward and free! Like going to the library to borrow some books but they don’t require you to bring it back unless you don’t use it all and need to recycle it! Their hours are Sunday through Wednesday from 900 to 330 pm. It is a bit tricky to get to so just pay attention not like my HB who thought it was right next to the ARCO gas station but to get to it you must go behind ARCO! That must be a man thing; he told me he knew how to get there so I just chuckled to myself!!! Just so you know I’m sure we will be back! My HB loves these kinds of places!!! He mentioned that there are several in town so just check out other locations throughout Sactown. It’s a wonderful service!!!
