We are extremely satisfied customers. My wife and I have depended upon Tailor John Cleaners for all of our dry cleaning needs and alterations for years. They are fast, reliable professionals who get the job done right the first time. I have been amazed more than once how they have been able to remove nasty stains from fabric that I had thought was permanently ruined. They are competitively priced and produce superior results. If you have not already, give them a try.

This has been my go to tailor and cleaner for quite a while. The workmanship and attention to detail is rarely found at this high a level. Service is always friendly and welcoming. They recycle my hangers which is a plus. I’ve even had them do some odd stuff like sewing up a tent that blew a seam. One word of caution is be sure to ask what something s going to cost if you have any reservation. Some garments and decorative items can get pricey. 99% of the time it’s still worth the price to me given the quality of the work, Then again there have been a couple times where I opted out of a service.
This is a small family run business that obviously takes great pride in what they do and how they treat their customers. Indeed a cleaner and tailor that’s as good as it gets!

I was so nervous to try to find a tailor in Elk Grove. I am so happy to have found Tailor John! He did an excellent job hemming all of my slacks at only $ 10 each. I appreciate how clean his shop is too.

My costume’s zipper broke and ripped really bad a few days before I needed to wear it. I took it to the Cleaners, along with a new zipper I bought at Joanne’s. I was told it would cost 15 or 20 for them to take out the old zipper and sew in the new one. It was ready on time and the lady only charged me FIVE DOLLARS! Plus she gave me the zipper I bought back and used one she thought would be better, free of charge. My costume couldn’t be more perfect, and I couldn’t be any happier.

So mad. I go to get 2 dresses altered and it costs $ 40 I decide to not even do it because it’s so expensive. I try to get a refund and lady doesn’t know how to process a refund. She ends up charging me twice and that’s $ 80! I have yet to receive my refund. If I never get it there will be major problems. Never again.

I have used Tailor John for all of my dry cleaning needs for many years. As owner of R. Douglas Custom Clothier (a men’s custom suit shop), my suits need to be pressed and cleaned with utmost care. I use Tailor John Cleaners for all of my alteration and dry cleaning needs. I would never go anywhere else. John is an awesome tailor and will not do something if he thinks it will not result in a quality alteration. I like that because he’s not just looking out to make money, he has his customer’s best interest in mind. These are the types of business you want to support.

By far the best cleaners I have ever used! As a regular customer here, owners have been as open as possible to making special arrangements for us when needed. For example, my father in law who is a minister arrived at 11:30 pm one night from a missionary trip to Mexico. He needed to have his suits dry cleaned the next morning to speak at a funeral. We called ahead and took them in at 6:40 am and got the call that they were ready at 9 am! No extra charge. Oh and she got a stain out of my favorite tie purchased from London that no other dry cleaner could!
